Thanks. Shut Shield is the next level after Super Rugby in Australia? And if there is money to pay the players in SS?

I agree, but he has already played for Australia-7, so unfortunately, it is for the Bears lost, but was able to play in one of the Russian prof clubs. Do you know more players with Russian roots in Australia (except Jeludev and Byrns)?I assume you are Russian? He has Russian heritage, he would be a great acquisition for the Bears.
The Shute Shield is the next step down from Super Rugby in Sydney. Brisbane has an equivalent competition called Premier Rugby.
The players get paid but not very much. It's certainly not fully professional (i.e. you need to have a job if you play Shute Shield).

Understood, and what is the money 500-1000 USdollars a month?
That's interesting. I think that in Russia Jeoludev would be one of the best wingers and earned a few thousand a month.Try zero "USdollars a month" which is standard payment at Sydney Uni.

I think that Braveheart has given you a wrong steer, rus. Try zero "USdollars a month" which is standard payment at Sydney Uni.

would he be on a 7s contract with the ARU?

I had no idea about Sydney Uni specifically but I was under the impression that some/many clubs give first grade players a small stipend to help cover their costs plus possibly a little more.
I could definitely be wrong. This is just the impression I had.
I think you are right, Braveheart. My comment specifically referred to the situation at Uni.
