Genia just made the monumental plays when required, especially later in the 2nd half when it looked like the Crusaders were starting to get a roll on, Fainga'a's defence was the Crusaders archilles heal, the amount of turnovers he caused from strong defence was impressive...

And Turinui, yes he may not be the fastest or best defender, but his experience and rugby smarts is clearly evident, that break he made and then fed the ball to davies to score, you can see Morgan telling Davies where to run, Davies wanted to stay wide but Morgan called the switch.

Davies was on the outside with pace, I think that if Turinuri threw an early ball then Davies could've stepped on the gas and had a better run to the line. It was only Carter covering from the side, and he burnt Carter easily after the switch.

the second time it happened he probably could have, although the cover defence was coming across, but the first time when it set up quades try i think it was the right idea

3. Cooper (despite the slight defensive lapse and the 'olympic torch' pre try celebration - gee I hate that, he was brilliant. I have criticised him when he was poor, so it is only fair that I recognise the times he plays very well indeed)
2. Genia gave Cooper great support, as usual
1. Davies the man has pace and used it well

It was difficult to decide who to give points to as there were so many great performances. Very bad news that Horwill is injured as he is Red to the core (and Green and Gold when the time comes).
