Are you serious louie? I think you picked the only guy that had a sub-par game!

sub par for him though. I still think he was very good. About 12.5 Carters. He kept the Cru on their toes, both with the ball and in attack. Very physical for a wee bloke.

How wee? Isn't he a touch under 6 foot and 95 kg's or so?

That was going to be my comment. He isn't small.

I guess it was his two kick out on the full and one ball dropped cold that stood out. He made more mistakes than any other player.

I like him a lot Noddy, but he didn't have the best game and he still needs to prove himself as a fullback IMO.

QC (Quade Cooper) deserves more, jeez it's a hard call this week! And would have liked to give Braid some points as well.

Aussie D

Desmond Connor (43)
3. A Faina'a
2. Higginbum
1. S Fainga'a (would have given him more but the lineout was a shambles again - fantastic around the field carting the ball up).

Brumbies Guy

John Solomon (38)
3. A Fainga'a - All you can hear in defence is this guy screaming and organising- great defender
2. Q. Cooper
1. W. Genia

Anyway Noddy, why are you the one being pedantic and stubborn? Isn't that Biffo's official position?

3 Genia - we ain't seen a half back like this for a while

He would probably be the best back if not the best player in Australian rugby ATM.

Definitely the best back. Not the best player - Benn Robinson currently holds that title. But jeez its close

Can I vote for Waldrom as best contributor for the Reds? Shocker from him. Carter was quiet to awful too.

I must say that Marto had it right: The Crusaders were out-Crusadered. Brilliant defence from the Reds and speed to burn on the counter. Can they play structured rugby to win against an opponent who doesn't make that many mistakes? We'll see I guess.

Fark its hard to pick a top three though. I'll decide based on what I thought were key moments, rather than best for the whole game - its the only way!

3 Anthony Fainga'a - some of his hits in defence were key, and his support in attack was good.
2 Genia - his passing in front of QC (Quade Cooper) and the kicks he put in to gain territory were outstanding.
1 Turinui - involved in two of the important scoring plays to sustain the Reds' momentum. His running and passing for both was top notch.

But the whole team really deserves a wrap.
