After the Lions fiasco we need to come out and shit on the Tahs. Foley has his house on this game. He's all in on Revenge!

"Has his house on the game"? The Teflon Kid? Failure doesn't stick to him. This is the bloke whose team won just four games last season despite being chock full of Wallabies, and then had two franchises fighting over him!

"He's all in on Revenge!" Why should he be vengeful? He produced eight straight losses to end his employment with the 'Tahs and management were down on their knees begging him to stay.

The man has no shame. After his team were absolutely flogged last night because all the paddock gates had been left open, he had the gall to praise their defence!

Bruce, have you ever, ever heard him say his team was crap, or were dominated?
It is his incessant "spinning" of the facts after each loss, that used to infuriate me. And his never ending negative/conservative style of play.
Praising the defence? That is a long bow, even for Foley I would have thought.
I think I will be saying a prayer to every variety of God, hoping the Tahs get up over the Force this week.

Did Foley have the stats on hand to back up his take on why they were unlucky?

There seems to be some misunderstanding here. The last thing I would like to see happen is for Force fans to lose faith in their coach. What frightens me is the prospect of him being cut adrift over there and then having him back at Driver Avenue knocking on the door of the same CEO who was desperate not to lose him.

Scary prospect that would be, and not really without precedent in rugbydom.

The Women's 7's have recently taken the Kiss of Death Nucifora on board as a consultant.

So,why the poor results for the Tahs this season?

Working from the mess they were in last year, I am stoked at the improvement both in their performance, and their results. They won 4 games last year, and have won 7 thus far.
You forget they lost the last 8 games under Foley.
Give it another year, when those close games are never converted to wins, and you hear the same old same old from the coach.
When the underlying principle of your coaching is to eliminate risk, the best you can expect is a consistent mid range result. But interestingly Foley is yet to achieve anything remotely mid table to date.
Winning is all about seizing opportunities.
Not seizing up when you get an opportunity, which is the Foley style.

our last game we beat the highlanders by one point--so much for your saying close games are never converted into wins
The improvement under Foley this year is apparant,so it looks like both clubs are winners:)
The fact remains...with a side full of test players, the tahs should have done much better under the new coach, not reaching the finals is a pass mark?

There are some cranky Waratah fans out today.

Who are the "lazy forwards" just wondering

Timani is lazy. Not as lazy as Sitaleki but still lazy. I reckon he'll struggle as the games wears on.

Skelton hasn't played much but I will wager my right arm that he is lazy. I'd give him about 15-20 minutes until he starts doing a Salesi Ma'afu and walks between rucks.

Ulugia is pretty lazy. Pretty good in the set-piece but not the presence on the field that TPN is.

What's Tilse like?

Atkins, Holloway and Ryan are all pretty involved. McCutcheon is a work horse too, but he doesn't tend to actually achieve much.
