Gotta say, this thread is making me mad left, right and centre. To be honest, I'm sick of this kind of baiting. Perhaps I need a drink or some quiet time but ffs stop acting like a bunch of pricks and play nice. It'd be unfair to pick just one person or one team, it's just shitting me. /rant

Thankfully this does not reflect the general standard of threads on this forum. If it did surely we could all find better things to do with our time than coming here.

Doesn't it make you look forward to the game on Friday that little bit more? We know the Tahs have some great talent, we know they are capable of playing some exciting rugby, but in the end I want my team to beat your team. A bit of friendly banter between opposing camps adds some spice to the contest.

Hear hear Bruce. I love a bit of banter and good natured needling, but there are times when it becomes a bit tiresome.

Moonoo, I look forward to each and every Force game regardless ;)
I certainly look forward to an early finish at work when there's a Friday game on. Team sheet tomorrow, lets see what RG has cooking.

some of the talk on here is rubbish. If i supported the Tahs last year i wouldn't of cared. The reason Tah fans booed was because they believed the team wasn't playing with there heart on there sleave. The fans thought the players didn't give 100 percent. If it was soley about the tactics they were using then the Tah supporters are some of the worst in sport. The force are not to blame for what happend. Can someone actually get the kicking stats from that game? I think it may have been 32 to 42 kicks. I remember both teams kicking the ball a hell of a lot. If the force were so boring and kicked the ball a heap why didn't the big name backs of the Waratahs run the ball back and score. I know a lot of people talk about the force being boring but look at round 4 agains the Tahs. BOth teams kicked the ball 21 times. Both teams scored 2 tries. The force had 2 line breaks to 1, 10 offloads to 2. How can anyone say the force are boring and make it sound like they try to be boring. I for one am amazed that they spread the ball wide as much as they do.

As for my beloved Force. I believe we try our best. We dont have the best team on paper. In fact we have probably the worst attacking team on paper in the entire S15 but if the boys try there best i'm ok with that.

If we win on friday night it will be another miracle. Winning in Sydney was one thing but to win this weekend will be another. I'm pretty sure last year at home it was a thrashing. 30 odd to 3 if i remember correctly. The Tahs should smash the Force again, The force should be paying 4 bucks to win but the funny thing is every single rugby fan knows they have a GOOD chance to win. Thats the way the force are. If we win it will be a great day for us and a very sad day for rugby's Australian home.

The force can be acused of being boring due to the fact your coach admitted to coming up with a game plan to destroy the contest and frustrate rather than be positive and try to win last year.

This years game was similar but the force got a few good phases in and took advantage. It was good fir them, the style if gameplay however is not good for spectators wishing to engage in a spectacle

lol @Sandpit Fan.

Waratahjesus, They did try to win, how the hell can anyone say they didn't try to win. I think its worse that his plan almost worked. If he tried to unveil that plan agains majority of other teams we would of got slaughtered but instead we lost by 5. Look mate i see your point but why go on about it? every time the force and tahs play each other from now on are we going to here this stuff? the bigger drama was when the cheetahs beat the tahs last year anyway. Thats what set all this crap off with the booing.

Like i said though i see your point. I enjoy a fast frantic try scoring game of rugby but what i enjoy more is seeing my team win. Any Way They Can (minus dirty stuff)

I thought we'd put this to bed earlier on in the night.....but its back ON!

This whole argument boils down to style v substance. I'll take substance any day. If my teams wins all the time but is considered boring....so be it. Tahs supporters feel free to boo your team if they don't score a try in a correct and fashionable way.....and don't forget the player needs to do an in goal dance move to round it off....it looks prettier. Next time the Force are in Sydney feel free to boo us as well ;)

All comments above typed with a smile on my face. Thursday morning we can discuss team selections.

...(in 2012) the (Tahs) were the highest try scoring team in the entire competition...

Be interesting to go back and count the Tahs' tries last year week by week: did their try-scoring ability drop off as the season progressed?

It's funny how some of the Force fans are trying desperately to defend their team when even they know that they enter games with the intention to destroy the contest. The fans know it, the players know it, the coach knows it. As he was walking up the tunnel after the game at the SFS, some Tahs fans yelled at him "great tactics coach" sarcastically. He just smiled cynically and walked on. He knows that he robbed people of their hard earned money to watch that game. It's not in the spirit of the game and It's not ok.

Spirit of the game ....................................................... faark

I have no problem with a side making it hard at the breakdown, that is called rugby, it is all about the competition for the ball.

My complaint was the lack of accuracy and effort to support the ball carrier from the Tahs.
