No Jeremy Williams is a big blow for the Force, not sure how long Carter will be able to last for and they're only carrying back row reserves.
Williams is a big blow, Sam carter Averaged about 60 minutes last year when starting and did 80 against the crusader so he can still go the distance.

Harris or Nick CDC are tall enough to slip into lock for the scrums if needed and last year Prinsep was used as a lineout option so I think we have the coverage its just not ideal as this is a game where williams will be missed

Sam Carter occasionally went for 60 minutes last year (average was 54), but I don't think that was ever ideal. That backrow cover that will slot in is ok at lineout time (though none of them are as good as Williams at attacking opposition ball), but the lack of weight in the scrum could be a real issue, particularly with the Force's prop depth being stretched already. A lot of the scrum struggles against Moana were out down to the bench front row, but it's worth noting Prinsep was also at lock during that period. Doesn't help that Swain looks to be the lock Cron planned to sub out most games this year, but I'm not too worried about his capacity to go 80 when needed.

Yes exactly, against Moana we moved Princep to lock and I don't think that helped. We have Coxon back now which seems better but I always feel like Moli is not going to last the game, looks injured before he even runs on. Felix Kalapu playing for Waratahs B team, would have been nice if he hung around

Williams a massive loss, our defense lineout has been really good.

Pretty surprised not to see Faifua to be honest, he's not listed as injured. It was always a bit of a risk heading into the year with only 4 out and out locks in the squad, but to not even use one of them when you're down to 3 seems like a real gamble.

What's the go on Hermaia Murray? Not respected by the Crusaders or a journeyman?

Very happy to see Wright back.
25 year old, just coming into his own. He looked very good in Japan and the UK for the Reds during the off season.

Don't think he was necessarily not respected by the Crusaders (had a cracking game or two for them last year), but with Reece, Jordan, Fihaki and Springer all there they probably weren't offering too much either. Could also be the case that he didn't have much faith in Penney...

Horton was in the front row too wasn’t he.

Horton is a handy player, but BPA a much better scrummager. Still - will be interesting who goes to lock and how they stand up in the last 20.

Excited to see Reesjan Pasitoa back in the lineup... Force backline looks solid, they were very impressive last week especially Potter, Donaldson and Pietsch.. I'm reluctant to say that the WA backline is better then the Reds..

Forwards will be an interesting battle, both packs have a smattering of test forwards and solid graft players... i'm expecting the breakdown to be a mess all night long..
