Be very interested to see how Perenara goes at 9 for Canes, he only 19, but have been quite keen on this boy for a couple of years, he could be a good un with a bit of experience.

Interested to see the boys fire up for this clash. We have to get a win on the board and get things rolling for 2012. Report in the Australian that Stannard is off to Japan at the end of the year and may seek an early release from his contract. If true, they need to get a halves pairing sorted and get some continuity happening. Hot day forecast Friday so hopefully the Force's pre season conditioning in the hot conditions will pay off.

This is almost a must-win game for the Force. A loss here will destroy their confidence completely and have them bottom four this season. They won't get many easier home games either, the Hurricanes pack has got little to write home about - either inexperienced newbies or guys who are on the downward slope.

Lose this week and the season is over, they'll be going through the motions.

Don't think it is quite that bad...but this should be chalked up as a win for the Force. Sharpie's 150th, 5th anniversary of our first home win, all players back form injury, playing at home, good conditions. What's not to like. 2 more hours and I am bailing from work, donning the Force jumper and going for some pre game beers. Go the Force!

God it's painful to be a Force fan sometimes. They are mathematically still in the contest but geez you can't just relax and enjoy the game when they are playing...... Always on edge waiting for a mishap.
