My round 1 lineup right now:

Still some uncertainty around Franco Mostert, Boom Prinsloo, Michael Prondesio, and my Saffer outside backs. Big gamble going for Johan Goosen over Pat Lambie, whom I had picked initially - hopefully he's 100% after his long layoff due to injury.

Anyone have more insight on the Lions front row, Caylib Oosthuizen, Franco Mostert, Boom Prinsloo, Michael Prondesio, and the Lions backline?

Halfbacks were poor value last year so the only change I would consider is Swapping Hougaard if you have someone else in mind. This first round will be a lottery though so prob good as anyone.

It's not that weird. It's only the bench you can have out of position players.

Bloody hard with only two games in this round, but it is what it is. The first few weeks are probably going to be a bit crazy I think. Anyone doing the SuperBru fantasy as well? If I do the Fox one, that would be three in total. Hmm, not sure I can handle the stress every week!

Happy my two teams are quite different. The ARU Fantasy team did very well and the Foxsports team was total rubbish.

I am only doing the ARU comp thise year. Otherwise I would spend way to much time on fansay....

Didn't do to bad for the first week. Except Keegan Daniel has got 0......... did he not play or have the point just not been finalised?

shiggins - I think that the groupings are a bit odd on the ARU comp. Frount row as a whole threw me for a start but then I was thinking that most of the high scorers are hookers so fill the team with hookers & one on the bench and you should be covered.

Having two saffer games as the total round sucked big time. I was distraught to score 168 Fox points, expecting to find myself 500 behind after one round. But, the best round score was less than 350!

Oosthuizen was awful, Labuschagne and van der Walt both scored in single figures, backs didn't make it to double figures except for Lambie. Thank goodness normal transmission resumes next week!
