Can anyone tell me how to transfers players from your bench to the starting team?

This. I have just been trying to sort it out but can't see. Will be shitty if you have to 'drop' them & then pick them back up again.

Really can't see much point in a bench if that is how it is going to work.

so we have just under 80 participants at the moment. Good for the comp but a pain in the arse as comp administrator.

I find the ARU comp really convoluted. The only reason I'm persevering is because I think most regular punters will just give up

Just checked my email, and noted that the fantasy rugby draft was 2 hours ago. Logged in, and I think it auto drafted for me?

I tried to log in for the draft on fantasyrugybdraft.com yesterday evening but it wouldn't work.

I think I'm going to give that one a miss this year and just play the ARU one.

You cannot make substitutions until your team has been submitted. Please check the game rules to see the submission time and how to use your substitutes.

From my reading we can't sub from our bench to field team. The Subs are only there for emergency purposes.

Also in the Forwards they have Jeff Allen - Is this actually Jeffery Toomaga-Allen or Mark Allen?

I found this:

Once you have picked 15 on field players and 7 substitutes, a submit button will appear at the top of the screen. If you enter your team before the transfer amnesty closes, you will not see a submit button. If your team is completed before 01:05 (EDT) on 16th February, 2014 it will be automatically submitted. Your team will not start scoring points, nor will it appear in a Private Competition, until it has been submitted.

But still no where can I see anything specifically mentioning transfering players from bench to play etc.

Pretty sure that transferring bench players will only kick in after Round 1.
Before then you just have to pick your top XV.

Yeah, but since you only have 4 transfers between round 1 & 2 the players you have on the bench are going to have to be a significant part of the team that you want in Round 2.

Correct. I read the round transfers as being players in and out of your entire squad (like FoxSports). So you can sub in your existing bench players to rd 2 team without it counting as a transfer and therefore avoid having a Saffa heavy side for the first month, unless you want one.
