Very droll Bruce - and he would probably have trouble with a drug test - just guessing.

What a silly thread. The best thing about it is Jets new avatar, though maybe that just me.

Don't let people use your computer when on the piss. I'm just lucky they didn't post anything abusive (I hope).

the funniest thing will be if one of the fingers gets dropped or not offered a contract with qld if the other will have a sook and go with him again, women those boys, absolute women.

True, Saiia bottles it continually under pressure. How many times for the Wallabies and the Reds has his lineout throwing crumbled in pressure situations? Colby looks like he willbe the best of the 3.

As others have mentioned, stupid thread. The three are in on merit. I recall the Reds won today too. Obviously they compensated amply for the supposed shortcomings of the twins.

As for being 'absolute women' - aside from being a crude comment, I'm sure face to face I know who I'd back.

Armchair critics can be quite amusing, big tough boy comments behind a keyboard.

Yeah, the way Saia cleans out and the way Ant chops blokes twice his size down is very much like the female species.

Looking forward to Colby being at the Reds in a couple of season's time.

Why would you want Colby at the Reds? You've got Gill and Quirk?

We'll take him at the Tahs though.

Not sure whether you mean the aeroplane or the fantastic one he's got on his profile. More disturbing than Ozsash McPot.

Ive always thought the has been a bit of bias towards the Fa'ainga brothers in selctions primarily because of the name. In particular with Brumbies selection, i was very surprised when Colby started getting picked ahead of Hooper and i came to the conclusion that perhaps the name he carried gave him an edge in selections over other young players. Opinions?

I hope the asylum hasn't scared you away Hooper dermo :)

They're a lively bunch here.

Look it isn't unheard of appeared family name special treatment in sport, but Colby is a talent and actually has a good knack for loose forward play.

It will be tough for him to get higher honors though with all the competition for loose forward selection.

I was referring to the way they cried about being split up at the brums, it's not crude at all.

Saia cleans out very well, be it coming in from the side or waiting til the rucks formed and hitting someone stationary, to lying offside and slowing the ball down. He truly is strong in all he does

Ho-hum. Apparently it's cool to diss Fainga'a S, but he has played more minutes this year than Moore or TPN and worked hard all those minutes. He captained the u20 RWC team, didn't he? And is part of a pretty good player culture at the reds, he's not a complete wanker.

I think both TPN and Moore are better hookers, sure. Fainga'a S. is lighter and has less impact carrying or tackling. He has had issues throwing in lineouts though it's not clear whether the throw is the problem per se or the coordination overall. His scrummaging - well, despite it's apparant importance to success the table is there for all too see.

Is it really necessary to sink the boot into him just because he is doing the best he can with whatever talent he has? Why do people have this personal affront against him?

As for being 'absolute women' -

For one, backline marvels Mark and Glen wouldn't have been caught dead braiding the other's hair before a game.

It's a pre-match ritual centre Anthony quietly performs on hooker Saia, the older by five minutes, each time they suit up for the Super Rugby pace-setting Queensland Reds.

Now i have realised it was a bit far fetched to suggest bias towards the Fa'aingas, but anyone who saw Hooper play in the under 20's must have seen why i thought he was a bit unlucky to be picked behind Colby, he had a blinder against france

Both good players, but still no bias.

Very Stupid Thread this one......Colby clearly best Fainga'a in S15. bullshit to assume he's there only coz of surname, he's a champion that I believe/predict will become great Wallaby(much higher honours than Saia & Anthony). Has excellent work ethic & excellent attitude, very humble bloke too.

Colby Fainga'a to get Brumbies most improved if not best forward.

Surely the surname has quite a bit to do with being the best Fainga'a?

Stupid thread this kid (literally .... Hard to believe only 19 going on 20) is going to develop into a great player can't wait to see his full potential.

This thread is stupid ( as many have elluded to). There is a reason the three boys have super rugby contracts....because they are good players?

Colby wouldn't of been picked as U20's captain if he wasn't suitable.

All quality players, stupid thread, end of discussion.
