NZ can't get going in Eng half - Poms swarming defence too good unless there is a break wide out.

59 mins - another ruck penalty against NZ - England too good around fringes and forcing penalties - NZ look ratttled.

60 mins - Farrell slots England take lead 22 -20.

62 mins - Eng loose lineout near own 22 but get ball back.

63 mins Eng get lineout but lose ball after and NZ attack.

64 mins - Piutau nearly in but ball goes to Nonu - beautiful pass to Savea in tackle, and he is too strong for fullback Brown and scores.

65 mins - NZ 27 - Eng 22.

Eng lineouts getting ropey - are playing well but always vulnerable to NZ brilliancies.

68 mins - Farrell injured Flood on.

70 mins - Eng back in NZ half - haven't been there for a while - but lose lineout again.

71 mins - Eng penalised at ruck Cruden slots from 42 metres out.

NZ 30 - Eng 22.

That's the game. Forwards are now on par while NZ backs are clearly ahead right now. Farrell going off has ended the game really.

73 mins - Read forces penalty when England in NZ half.

NZ finishing stronger - more play in Eng half.

77 mins - Eng playing catchup but lose ball near own 22 - NZ scrum.

Final score NZ 30 - Eng 22.

Savea MOTM but Read, Nonu and Piutau also good.

Robshaw, Launchbury and Brown good for England - Morgan good sub at 8.

England better than against Oz or Argentina and looked the stronger team for about half an hour—but lineouts problematic.

NZ better in first and 4th quarter.

Key difference was in NZ strike power when they got a sniff.

TKB played his best game so far in AB jersey IMO. That tackle on Flood was superb-didn't know he could move so fast.

Can't say I was impressed with Joubert's refereeing. How he missed Marler's huge obstruction after the pen hit the posts with him standing 2m beside it remains a mystery to me. Also very inconsistent refereeing at ruck time. England pack did very well for the middle 40 mins of the game but were letdown by their average backs. When Youngs came on, their game went to shit. Cruden was disappointing, too.

Agree that England's pack looked pretty good today. the backline is definitely a weak link at the moment. Not causing too many problems for the better sides. England are really great at playing in those grinding see-saw matches. bring on the next game!

Perhaps Tuilagi's injury was the difference between the two teams this time.
