Chance are he will fight someone who resembles FatProp's avatar. (no offence FP). Even then I am backing the avatar.

Quade Cooper is an exceptionally gifted athlete with reflexes which are quite remarkable... I don't doubt that with training be could make a very good boxer..

If he chooses to do this in his own holidays over the Christmas break then go for it..

IF he was any good there is a lot more $$$$$$$$ available than in rugby - didn't the mouth Mundine make some $6million in 1 year........................
don't think QC (Quade Cooper) has the mouth to be that successful

Mundine made heaps, cos so many people wanted to see him bashed and they were willing to pay for it.
QC (Quade Cooper) could probably do the same thing in NZ, but they are such legendary tight arses they won't pay as much as the punters in Oz were willing to pay.

Cooper v McCaw ;)

Cooper wil be fine. If its like his other mates he will fight unknown Boxers or Boxers that are out of Form.

Boys, we might need to give QC (Quade Cooper) some knee pads if this McCaw fight is a go.

Cooper would last about 3 seconds with McCaw. There, I said it. My Dad is tougher than your Dad.

Not as sad as I'll be though Sully if Quade fails to be the great player he can be due to fluffing around.

I'm surprised QC (Quade Cooper) is being touted. Surely the more logical choice (based on recent events at least) is KB (Kurtley Beale)?

Khoder Nasser and this 'crew' he's got going currently are just the worst.

For who?

He seems like a good agent from a players perspective..

As a fan, Reds fans have been fortunate to have Quade since day 1 and he is signed until 2015..

Yes there is a circus when the players are up for negotiation, but can you blame a bloke for chasing the true market value of a player?

Boxing has clearly had a limited effect on SBW's career, don't see why it would be much worse for QC (Quade Cooper).

To my knowledge he doesn't have the same love of boxing training that SBW does (seeing him and Messam spa is scary) but if this helps rugby keep QC (Quade Cooper) financially it can't be bad, in fact boxing training in probably the 3rd best cardio for rugby (after wrestling and of course playing).

And on a side note, anything that raises the profile of Rugby is Aus can only be a good thing. You would have to think that a player like Quade going boxing would pull a few extra headlines.

I'd rather they focus on being good at Rugby.

What about players who study degrees during the season or players who pursue other commercial opportunities?
Both those consume a significant amount of time and realistically have no potential benefits to their on-field performances, yet boxing quite possible could through increased fitness.
