Anyone else hear on last nights commentary that Greg Martin is trying to organise a Classic Test between retired internationals for approximately 10th March at Ballymore for Christchurch?

yeah, Justin Marshall and Scott Robertson first players to join up.

Razor was in Christchurch at the time and was missed by a boulder/some debris by a few metres.

Had to help a trapped woman apparently and went to help a trapped man, but it was too late for him.

I'll probably go along and cover the match for the site if its on at a decent time.

So those of you with all sorts of rugby contacts, get onto it! Hell, even those of you sad and pathetic enough to have twitter accounts, bombard these legends with requests/questions as to their involvement. One or two might need some prodding, so let them know the public wants it and it's a great chance to raise some $$$ for Christchurch! If it was in Sydney I'd be there in a flash!

I wonder if Campo will get a start? Then him & Marto can re-enact that magical moment from the 89 Lions Tour for the fans....

Would be good if Tune and Roff turned up on the wings. Maybe they should just go for the 1999 World Cup winning backline. Although Dan Herbert looks like he might have lost a yard or 2 of pace over the years.

Kooga are supplying the kit for the aussie team according to facebook, I suggested there that they have mustard yellow jerseys with traditional embellishments and put it into retail with a percentage to charity.

Probs wouldn't happen though.
