Lol more youngish guys in the ruck and plenty of pace out wide, kiwis burning it up!

Crofty and Latho (Latho particularly!) need to take the Wobs by the scruff of the neck. I know it's not a particularly serious game but Crofty is the wob who looks most able to pull a jersey on I reckon.

Fun game, great cause but got pasted.

I put that down to a lot of recently retired blacks playing and recently retired wallabies are still playing for the Rebels.

Far too much pace & youth from the AB's outside backs tonight. Wallabies handling let them down often but Kiwis far too good and ran out deserved winners.

Lots of money raised for the Earthquake appeal & the scoreline has put smiles on plenty of Kiwis faces.

So big congratulations to Marto, Triple M, the QRU and everyone else involved in making tonight happen. Very enjoyable and good vibe through the stands even if it was just to watch some old blokes have a bit of a run around. Cheers!

Yes I suppose it'd be a bit different with Larkham, Mortlock, Langford, Frier, Caldwell, and who knows maybe you could have cameos from Dell and Matt Rogers to make it a truly inclusive evening.

But really, it was a game that put the fun in fundraising and by george it did that well.

What a magnificent evening! They were still counting the cash when the MC announced after the match that $406,000 had been raised for the good folk of Christchurch. Onya Brisvegas!!

The crowd mood was unbelievable...fireworks, a well observed minute of silence, mexican waves, a post match haka from the Classic Blacks...it was all there.

As for the game.....have to admire the guys for getting out there. Some of them looked like they could still earn a spot in the serious stuff. Have to say that Campo made Quade look like a defence icon, not sure he made a tackle all night. Good on him for getting out there though.

Gret night, so happy to have been a part of it.

A clip we shot last night. Going through it all to start the editing, should be a decent batch of highlights.

That's a nice clip, Mr Timms - good simple execution always pretty. What sort of camera were you using?
