CAS Rugby 2024

Waverlian2024

I disagree, Waverley did not humble Cranbrook at all, winning by 7 points in a very tight game. Knox didn't humble Cranbrook either. Being at both these games the scoreline did not reflect the game... Nevertheless this is what the game is about, the smart decisions.
I think the Waverley v Cranbrook game was most definitely a fair scoreline..... They were HUMBLED at home.

What the? Knox put 31-10 on Cranbrook. Is that also a tight game?

Didi you watch it? Cranbrook played about 75% of the game in the Knox half...
It's on NSW Rugby TV and is not a bad game to watch
Knox, with a combination of losing their halfback early and the weight of the 100-year celebrations, was very clunky in the first half and went in at 7-5.
In the 2nd half, they found their groove and outscored Cranbrook 24-5 for a final score of 31-10

Ultimately, a fair scoreline that reflected the two teams.

I did mate. If you had that much territory then it’s pretty poor to only come up with 10 points. Knox played poorly with a lot of unforced errors but still won convincingly. I wouldn’t call it close

People on this forum like to say their school “dominated” if it had a lot of possession and territory but didn’t score points. I don’t call that dominating, I call it wasting opportunities, but each to his own.
