Was at the Trinity-aloys game today, great performance by at aloys, put an uncharacteristicly lackadaisical Trinity team away and didn't let them back. Just another thought not to do with the footy, the behavior of both the aloys schoolboys and their old boys was atrocious. I think it's highly inappropriate for grown men (some of which looked about 20 years out of school) to be harassing schoolboy players who have done nothing to provoke them. Anyway just a though. My standouts were
Aloys: diamond, slaven, Lawson
Trinity: Mclennnen (apart from the 10 minutes in the bin), fillipo and molla had a strong game in my opinion

sportsmanship from the trinity team generally was appalling.. trinity #2's consistent grabbing and attacking of aloys #2, trinity #8 who eventually got yellow carded was attacking fallen aloys players, trinity #5 stomped on the head of aloys #1 causing swollen and bruised eye. abuse from trinity parents was also consistent and overall poor form from the trinity side

OK OK - let's stop the posts about the behaviour of the players.

People often complain about such restrictions quoting free speech and the like but it only serves to denigrate schoolboy rugby and the CAS in particular.

And as the boss, Hugh Jarse, often points out - this is not a democracy.

Any future posts mentioning bad behavior by parents or players, even as a part of it, will be zapped.

Do not be surprised.

Cooper was chosen in the Twos v. CHS - although the programme stuffed up and had the name of someone else (from last year) in as the 6.

Shame Justin Cooper (Waverley) is injured. Surprised he wasn't selected in CAS 1s for the CHS match.

Zac Cardassalis is out injured as well. He played strong as a reserve for the 2nds vs CHS before being replaced injured.
The replacements played well but Waverley had four regular forwards out yesterday.

Biggest loss is Tim Anstee..He played brilliantly for CAS1st against CHS and unfortunately was injured yesterday. That said the Cranbrook lads are very able replacements... On another slightly different tangent I think both the Barker and Cranbrook coaching staff need congratulating. The spirit and intent of both 1st and 2nds teams yesterday was a excellent example of everything good about CAS rugby.
