Injuries will play a big part in the results of this week's games. For e.g. I believe Waverley have several players out of their forward pack. I'm not sure if Knox's injured players are back yet.
I will bravely step forward and make the following predictions, using my head and not my heart on Saturdays games.
Cranbrook over Barker
Alloys over Trinity
Knox over Waverley
I hope that all teams play well and make life hell for the CAS selectors and most importantly, that all the player get through the weekend injury free.
Good Luck.
Stenning makes a return this week for Knox, with big boy Cardassilaris out for Waverly. Really looking forward to the hit out from both teams, Knox will surely thump the boys from Death Valley.
Harry Schofield (13) I think has been playing terrifically for Knox and was unlucky not to receive a position in the CAS teams thoughts??

Cranbrook over Barker !! whats going on rod skellet?
Looking at the weather, it should be dry by the weekend … etc etc
What are our thoughts on the upcoming CAS games?
Barker vs Cranbrook
All of the games this weekend will be very interesting, with Barker vs Cranbrook being the battle of the weaker teams in the comp. My pick would be Barker they have played as a team really really well and seem to play for each other. Cranbrook not to be overlooked they went toe to toe against Knox for the first 20 but seemed to run out of steam.

Knox vs Waves
At home its hard to see Knox loosing although they haven't seemed to be able to repeat the display of beautiful rugby that they did at death valley the last time theses two teams met. Waves will be looking to regain some pride after the earlier defeat and when they play well they play really well, with their lightning fast backs. Knox has a couple of veterans returning, with White returning at 10 (after an injury in pre-season) in the 2nds having played 1st/2nds last year and played all trials games in the 1st XV he will bring some added depth in the backs that Knox needs. Stenning looks to be returning?

Aloys vs Trinity
Of all the games this weekend this would be the one to get down and watch both of these teams have been playing really really great and I would think that the winner of this will come 2nd at the end of the season. Both have some of the most dangerous runners of the ball in CAS in Diamond and McClennan as well as very solid forwards. Hard to say who will could go either way. I think it will come down to who can play the full 80 minutes at 100%.
Trinity by a try
poor old Waverley
a few drops of rain, and the council closes QP
and even when it doesn't rain, you have about a thousand different teams sharing a pretty confined area
oh well looking like might be a tough weekend for Waves
1sts .. be injury depleted, and Knox back to full strength
2nds .. played well for 60 minutes in 1st round, but will be impacted by players sliding up
16As .. my mail is that Cornish still out .. although last time I was told the opposite
15As . out of form? coming off a loss to Aloys .
I saw a list of one of the Roosters junior teams and it was virtually half Waverley kids . a weak Randwick Rugby is half the problem
anyway hoping for a few upsets, but reckon Knox will win 70% of games this weekend
Seems to be a closing of the gap between CAS and GPS standards in recent years. Could it get to the point where the might of the GPS is regularly taken apart by the boys in red.
The CAS U16s beat GPS in the Final of the schoolboys championships last season.
