I think that Trinity has its best player from last year, prop Harry McClennan returning.
Wayland played at prop for NSW and if TGS field him there then they'll have two very skillful and mobile props up front.
In the second row I think Liam Rasch is also back, after a fine year last year, and Filipo will presumably be locking beside him.
Then you have guys like Morris and Longville in the backs.
As those above have alluded, for Trinity it will come down to team cohesion and a bit of luck with injuries, but they have some quality players to build a squad around.
Also bear in mind that 3 regular 1st XV members from last year (Wayland, Longville and Morris) are only in year 11 in 2015. These boys will all be stronger, faster and more mature in 2015.
I'm not making any predictions about where TGS will finish, as there are plenty of good players returning for the other schools too, but if they can play consistently and with team spirit they might surprise some more highly fancied teams.
Last year's tournament was wonderfully competitive at the top and I think everyone enjoyed watching a disciplined and spirited Cranbook side pip out the big spending Knox team. You can't buy spirit
and it'll be interesting to see which of these schoolboy teams will take a leaf out of Cranbrook's book from last year.
