Apart from that miss with Genia 1 out from the Canes line the ref hasn't been too bad. The Reds are their own worse enemies. Poor defence mainly - not putting guys down, not sliding, leaving holes everywhere. It is woeful.

If their was a decent replacement I would pull Shepherdson. Maybe AWH too but not too sure a lazy Samo is the guy they need on right now.

Ant Fainga'a soon for Chambers to clean up the midfield D is another no brainer.

Give it up on complaining about the ref. The Reds have been their own worse enemy and he Canes have played very well.

The rot for the Reds started with their set pieces.

Great kick from Cooper sees Morahan in the corner. They earnt that try from better ruck protection.

The ref is being loose at the breakdown. The Reds are adapting but they need to keep it up. Thought the Canes earned a penalty for holding a few times.

Gees Reds get a let off from the ref there. Interesting that they are taking the points.

Replay showed the ref got it right as the Canes player was off his feet.

Cooper kicks it. 22 to 13 46 gone.

Poor dropped ball from Harris gifts possession back to the Canes. Reds need to cut out the dropped balls.

From the scrum the Canes nearly score again. Desperate Reds defence forces a knock on just a few out. Canes are making ground and messing up the Reds defence too easily.

Good clearance from the scrum. They couldn't go that last week. Canes still making half breaks with ease.

Canes blow a try as Gear got outside Robinson but Genia got Gear 3 out.

Luckily the Canes blow it from the scrum. But then the Canes pinch the lineout five from the Reds line.

Poor call on the high tackle from the ref. Look like he reacted after the crowd went wild but replay showed contact with the ball.

Sadly the Canes 12 has done his knee after looking dangerous.

Canes should kick this penalty and make it 25 to 13.

Reds defence has been too static and letting the Canes play with as much room as they want.

Hmm awful skewed kick from Eaton puts his pack offside and the Reds take a penalty. I reckon they should take he lineout. Anyway.

Cooper gets it. 25 to 16 to the Canes. 58 gone.
