A massive game for the Brumbies against the Bulls. I fear for the Brumbies in this one. The Bulls are simply unstoppable at times at Loftus. I'd love to see how Jake White prepares the Brumbies for this one in his country of birth.

Hooper gone apparently to the Tahs. What do your sources say BJ?

Apologies Qwerty, you are correct. I didn't get to watch the Bulls vs Lions game on the weekend. Looks like he started on the bench after being injured for the first part of the season, came on for 10 mins and injured his hamstring.

I'd love to see the Brumbies do well here, however, they haven't done too well against the physical South African sides this season, and they haven't even played the 'good' ones yet.

Yeah, pressure cooker situation, not used to play at altitude, I'd say we're in for a loss.
Hopefully we'll get points out of the Lions.

Pretty straightfoward...

Alexander and Smith both return to the starting XV...

White to make a decision on the bench closer to the match....

Dewald came on last game and got injured within 5 mins didn't he?

Very unlucky. Great player to have coming from the bench and he is able to play to the ball more than the other loosies that are currently fit.

Great effort from the Brumbies to get 2 bonus points at Loftus against a tough Bulls side.
5 tries scored by Jake's men! (If only Steyn had left his kicking boots at home...)

A great display against a team many thought they'd get towelled up by. It was looking that way until a great Brumbies fightback in the second half with 3 tries in the last 12 minutes.

I thought Jake used his reserves very well. Normally you'd question taking off your Wallabies when the team is trailing but it shows that all 22 players have a part to play.

It could have been a case of 'what if' if Lealiifano had Steyn's kicking boots after missing those 2 conversion in the first half. Steyn didn't look like missing, but somehow did and as Sam Ikin would say, the Brumbies lost not the way it should be, especially after scoring 5 tries to 2 at Loftus.

Well played and now onto Johannesburg to play the Lions where the score could be anything.

Can I also add that Marius Jonker could find himself off the panel after 2 blatant knock ons. One leading to a Bulls try and Prior knocking on in goal. How the last was not given is beyond me..
