Apparently Pablo Picasso has returned from the grave, and is working in the Gilbert design department. Behold the new 2010/2011 Bulls jerseys.

That's foul. But let's face it, most S12/S14 teams have a blank canvas to work with - no history. I swear to God, what rugby supporter wouldn't prefer blue and white hoops or something? Why does this shit keep happening?

All the Saffa teams, the Brumbies, and the Blues have been the worst offenders.

D\Try not to confuse the Bulls S14 franchise with the Blue Bulls (Northern Transvaal) provincial side. The red barberton daisy has not been on the Bulls S14 jersey ever, AFAIK.

Oh did not know that but I have a lot of fear the politicians wants to lay their hands on one of my favourate rugby emblems, the Barbetonse Daisy. Afriforum at this very moment is fighting for the hold of Pretoria iso Tswane. Vokken fluffybunnys. :lmao: Sorry Scarfman.

The 1999 Bulls S12 jersey. In 1996 and 1997, the top 4 Currie Cup sides played in the Super 12. 1998 saw the introduction of the franchises (Northern Bulls, Coastal Sharks, Western Stormers, and Golden Cats) Image taken from A Decade of Super 12 DVD that I thoroughly enjoyed watching recently.

Thanks for that one Rusty, the big man leading them. Winnie still in the picture.

I am like Blue, a Brute jersey just aint the same without its daisy blom. Myself have them in the garden and whenever I trek, they travel with me. Dont have disa's, only Ferns and Barbertons daisies.

Nice try Scarf.

Point is, why not just a plain colored jersey?

The answer is - change the thing every year to get more jersey sales.

Understand they are now going to change Tswane to the Boer version to compromise "TSwanepoel" Isnt there one playing for the Force?

I know I've said it but Saints lock, Juandre Kruger is the best addition to the Bulls squad in some time (well he is coming back btu I thought he was a massive loss when he left - akin to say Mumm leaving the Tahs). A real backup to Matfield. The Bulls haven't really had an athletic lock backup in the Vic mould.

Very intelligent player with great leadership. Look to see him play at 5 and 7. Lots of new options. Vic and Bakkies start and you have Kruger and Rossouw on the bench. You could replace both locks, or Spies with Danie, or one of the flanks with either these guys. The big worry has always been not starting with Vic and Bakkies and this is becoming a real possibility now.

The meagre reports I have seen suggest he's a dud.

The Tahs haven't exactly made his life easy, have they? A years off then straight to professionalism.
They should have set up a hand-shake agreement that if he puts in a good year in the shute shield they would hire him.

Still, I'd rather see Jowitt get a run anyway. He was a solid NPC player.

How is the Brute Tah lock going?

Yur spoton Kruger is a fine talent.

The meagre reports I have seen suggest he's a dud.

Got any links? Only report I saw was the SMH one which didn't give much insight. Seems he isn't getting much of a pre-season run which suggests that you may be right,

So going the same path as Ismuael Dollie?

Not quite the same. Roodt has a S14 contract. Dollie was gunning for a Brumbies academy contract and was doing so becuase he approached the Brumbies.

Getting to be a pro rugby player is supposed to be easy?
