Rodney Iona has to be the worst back at the academy and still gets games. He can't attack or defend for shit.
Brums up 15-3, he comes on and misses so many tackles, bad positioning and it is now 15-18

Coach Coleman is off to Japan so you won't have to put up with him much longer. I think Holland is with the 7s. Great to hear Sills is on fire. I read where Crook was one of the best players at Kiama

The problem is that Coleman is still there till the end of the Runners' program and has systematically stuffed the team for this year. There are players there who should not be in an academy let alone a rep team.
Holland is back I think and was sick for the Tongan game. Crook killed it in Kiama - genius.

final score 27-26 to Fiji.
Villi has had another shocker.
I am sick of Coleman picking players who can't do it. Sills absolutely killed it. What a great player he is.

here is my backline.
9 - Nick White
10 - MattToomua
11 - Lewis Holland
12 - Tyrone Smith
13 - Lindsay Crook
14 - Clinton Sills
15 - Jesse Mogg

These players are rugby athletes, not show ponies and I just cannot understand Coleman continually picking players who are ball hogging prima donnas.
WAKE UP BRUMBY MANAGEMENT

Final score was Brumby Runners 30 - Sills, A Smith, T Smith, Owen, Carter tries, To'omua con, pen goal def Fiji 28 - Tuitoga, Ratuva, Kavatu tries, Maravunawasawasa 2 cons, 2 pens, drop goal

Some points from the game:
Andrew Smith came off with concussion after 30 mins.
James Turner came on at about 55 mins and replaced Kimlin, Turner seemed to go alright.
Nic White subbed at half time, as previously mentioned.
The first half was riddled with handling errors by both teams, more so the Runners in that period.
Fiji had a winger in the bin straight after the 2nd half restart for taking Carter out as he attempted to catch the ball and the Runners scored 10 points in that period.
To'omua seemed a little 'laboured' in attack- more sideways and not challenging the line, and couldn't buy a conversion.
And finally, the singing by the Fijian team after the game was fantastic, as was the sausage sanga at halftime.

my highlight was watching AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) with his hobo beard and thongs trying to eat a steak sandwich and dropping most of it on the gravel.

Even though the result didnt go their way, i was impressed by the way the Local Fijian boys played...their centre pairing was impressive and was their Flyhalf and little winger, the front row did some damage with ball in hand, and their hooker was impressive also, got through a mountain of work. Im sure he is the bloke that used to play for Gungahlin and then Easts. Can someone confirm?

Half time against Reds Academy and it is embarassing for the runners. - Reds leading 22-7 - Ben tapaui and jarad Butler having great games for the Jnr Reds while Rodney Iona having a shocker (again and again) for the Runners.
Now 32 - 7, does anyone else see a patten here.

I understand the final score was 32-12, which surprised me a bit. Thought it would be a lot closer given the results of the Pacific Cup over the last couple of weeks. Good to see Tapuai went well, and I was interested to see how Butler went. I liked what little I saw of him at Ballymore last week.

Watching the game was embarrassing. Reds A totally outclassed and outmuscled the Brumbies Academy.

Reds look like they have some very, very good players to come through the ranks... Which I suppose is what an academy is meant to do!

As opposed to running players who shouldn't be there or are coach's pets through some arrangement or obsession.
Well done Qld academy, you not only have the players but what you have are run well, in correct position and do the job. Kimami Sitauti while talented is still a tad too slow for me and I would love to see him create a try and complete it rather than do his dancing routine and cede posession at the tackle, but he is waayyy above Palmer Fau or any of the Runner's outside backs, except maybe Sills.

He was listed as 13, but i suspect he probably played at 12 with Kimami at 13
