An Andrew Lees special. Brumbies player walks around while the ball is still in the ruck (as it lookde like popping out but doesn't) to ruin the Reds ball. Lees happy to play on, then penalises the Reds for off their feet at the next ruck. Well played, Lees, well played.

How can that scrum not result in one of the teams being penalised?

Just penalise one. Make a decision.

Cubelli under the Sticks.

Another 7 for the Ponies. 36 - 17 after 71 minutes.

Ponies have the >3 try gap BP.

H. Tui for the Reds there just a shocking read, the pillar can't move while the halfback has the ball. And even so, he needs to watch for the inside ball so needs to stay on the half back's inside shoulder.

It's schoolboy stuff, Reds!

Cubelli read it beautifully though.

Tuttle is going pretty well, but he has been caught out of position a few times and forced to take the ball into touch.. Overall some promising signs for the future for him

More meat for the Ponies, Talialui in out wide.

Ponies 43 Reds 17 after 75 minutes.

The Northerners have racked their cue as many suspected they would.

Brumbies with another big maul, they've had the Reds number there all night.

Since about 60 minutes it's been all Brumbies, and they go in again.

Back to the good ol' Reds shambles.

So how does MOC hold down a backline coaching gig? The general play from phase ball from the Reds backs is appalling. They stand deep and shovel static ball, you can't tell me that's not what they practice.

I feel for some of the better Reds players being part of this mess :(

I think the Reds are being exposed for a lack of fitness. As has often happened this season in the last 20 minutes.

Definitely some green shoots for them this game, though. They are definitely starting to pull things together, they are just coming from too far behind to catch up this season. Still making silly Graham-esque tactical decisions, like box kicks to nobody.

Tongan Thor in for a consolation try.

Kerevi made the break that set that up.

I shudder to think of where we'd be without Kerevi.

There is some hope, Paia'ua has gone well since he came on, Tongan Thor shows a lot of promise.

The rucks are a shambles though, and defensive structure is appalling, particularly static and poor line speed.

Tupou replies with some meat after a LF Gill steal,

Looked like he nearly had the ball ripped off him in the act of scoring but Lees awards it. Converted. Brumbies 43 Reds 24 as the siren sounds.

Some messy side to side Reds play and Magnay goes over the sideline to end the game.

43 - 24 to the Brumbies, you can't say it's not a fair reflection on the two teams.

Brumbies miss out on the bonus point?
