Brumbies bench looks miserable. So they should.

Judging by the Brumbies run home they can not make he top four.

Brumbies execution is just so woeful. And so is their decision making.

Harrison looks awful.

I bet as soon as they're clearly out of the running for a finals booth they'll finally click at last. As soon as!

Anyone notice they are playing the theme from The Biggest Loser to end the game...

They might be aiming that at Kaplin but the Brumbies played shite as they have all year..

Gees the crowd booing Kaplan is pretty wrong. Kaplan is not who they should be booing.

Jeez the Bumboys sucked eggs.

Fans booing the ref as he walks off. Bad show. Even Kearns thought he got it right.

Can't believed the crowd booed the ref, if your team has 70% of possesion & can only score two scrappy tries then you should be throwing bricks at your inside backs.

I'd rather watch a replay of the Reds 2007 or the tahs 2009 then the Brumbies 2010.

Maybe they were booing the team. We are all assuming it was the ref. Kaplan gave them every chance tonight - he was consistent, which is what you really want. The Brumbies were simply awful. Only Huxley can vaguely hold his head up there.

Well, it is the Wallaby way and watching the Brumbies tonight was just like watching the Wobbs last year - plenty of potential, totally pissed away.

Surely this had to be the end of Giteau's 5/8 career aspirations, and despite getting a try, it should be the end of Phibbs career full stop. Since when was running 3m backwards before passing to no-one a good idea?

cyclopath - The footage as the refs left the field and the crowd giving them hell pretty much settled who they were unhappy with.

Hoiles blamed the forwards for the backs poor play stating that Phibbs wasn't given clean ball and it had a knock on effect. I think he's trying to shift the blame though. IMO Phibbs passing and Giteaus kicking were woeful and killed it for the Brumbs

That was disgraceful - a backline that has no penetration,a complete lack of support play and overall no organization, plan or clue. Some of the forward play was OK - (push over and tight head) but you have to wonder who is calling the plays.

When they get inside the opposition 22 there is no longer any expectation that they can get over the line. I think it would be very hard to pick Gits in a Wallaby team. Alexander, Elsom and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) will be the only Brumbies in the run on Wallabies. About as poor as I have seen a Brumby team. Sure the ref didn't help but then again the Brumbies did not deserve to win that game.

Maybe that's what he figures it takes to get a spot on the wallaby bench these days...

Dreadful performance by the Brumbies.

Please, noone start a player of the game thread. A worst player of the game thread might be OK, with points deducted for the worst three "players".

Fair enough, I has turned off by then!! If they were, very poor.
I can't believe Giteau looks so poor at 10 these days. Deep, in the pocket, sloppy out of hand kicking and just making nothing in the way of a play.
AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) makes good ground at 13. He has no sense of offloading though, or at least not tonight. Maybe he had no runners, but he didn't seem to be looking. If the defenders know such a player won't offload, it does make defending a bit easier. There was really nothing from the Brumby backs at all.

I have never seen Mr Kaplan try so hard to help an Australian team - 14 (?) penalties and two yellow cards against the Hurricanes in the first half.

You think Mr Kaplan should have taken over leadership of the Brumbies, cleaned up bad ball for them, started their breaks, finished their breaks and made their tackles?
