Yep, make no mistake Slaptjips & Ludeke have picked the KoringBoer, Paul Roser with a purpose. They could easily have gone for experience putting JL Potgieter in 12 & Meisiekind in 13.Moses said:Now would be a great time to insert Mortlock into my fantasy team!Blue said:Dippenaar at 13. Bliksem thats not good news for the Brutes. Now they should have played the Galpil Steenkamp. Still think the Brutes will take this one.Blue said:Big blow fopr the Bulls.
Second rower Danie Rossouw out with a knock to the neck in training. Replaced by Flip vd Merwe, a big unit but they lose tons of experience and some mobility in the T5.
Not good for the Bulls.
Brumbies kingpin Matt Giteau has lambasted his team-mate Adam Ashley-Cooper for calling the Vodacom Bulls “parasites”.
Giteau, who came through his team’s training session at Zwartkops unscathed on Thursday, immediately distanced himself from the comments made by Wallaby teammate Ashley-Cooper which are certainly set to give the Bulls more motivation ahead of Saturday’s Vodacom Super 14 game.
Cooper called the Bulls “parasites” and said in an interview with the Canberra Times they played “such a parasitic game of footy, their game plan, they just rely on putting all the pressure on you and wait for you to slip up.”
But Giteau quickly slapped his teammates words down, and indicated there was a certain bit of unhappiness about giving the Bulls some motivation ahead of the clash. Giteau even went as far as to call Ashley-Cooper “dumb”.
“I don’t agree that they play like parasites. Adam can be dumb at times and say the wrong things. They’ve been top of the table in Super rugby and Currie Cup for a number of years, so they’re obviously doing something right.
“They are certainly a side who can punish you if you make mistakes, so you just have to limit those.”
The Brumbies playmaker was happy that he got through the training sessions well but said he was looking forward to the challenge of facing Morné Steyn again.
“I’m looking to the game, a little disappointed at how the season started for me, but I’m looking forward to it.” “I’ve got a little bit of extra weight on at the moment, which never hurts for someone my size. But I’ve been able to get a bit of extra work done.
“I’ve played him (Morné) a few times, and played with him for the Barbarians, where I saw a different side of him. He is obviously a world class kicker who can dictate a game tactically as well, so for me, it is more about how the team performs. If the team performs well, then I’ve done my job.”
Giteau’s main concern seems to be fitness, and there are question marks on whether he will complete the game, with a first half appearance the only certainty at this stage.

You can't give the Saffa media the slightest opening when it comes to their precious rugby players.
eg Will Genia: "Yeah Victor Matfield won man of the match, and FdP was the second best player out there."
Headline: "GENIA: FDP NOT THE BEST!!!!"
When they write something about Snor, your the first one to fell for their shite.Spook said:That's hilarious :lmao:. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) didn't say they were parasites but rather they play a parasitic type of rugby - ie, they live off the mistakes of their opposition. :lmao:
* Meanwhile the BBC are also in a legal dispute over their famous pre-match entertainers, the Bulls Babes.
"Bulls fans and other followers will notice that the famous Bulls Babes will not perform at the first Super 14 home match of the Bulls," the BBC said in a statement ahead of Saturday's encounter with the Brumbies.
"The absence of the Bulls Babes is as a result of a dispute between the Blue Bulls Company [BBC] and the company that managed the Bulls Babes under contract from BBC," the statement said.
"The dispute concerns the ownership of the trade mark BULLS BABES.
"Both parties have sought legal advice and correspondence has been exchanged between their attorneys.
"There will be no performances by the Bulls Babes until further notice from the BBC."
