Austin Anderson was apparently in the frame as the backup No 10 to Declan Meredith but suffered a broken jaw this past weekend in the JID Cup game. Maybe Chase Oates? Pretty sure he played half a game for the Runners at 10 and looked quite promising although still very young.

that would be a big step up from wests 4th grade

in all seriousness though surely they just call a local in to train in case Meredith goes down.

I suspect Wright or Creighton would be the current backups if anything happens in game.
