Has anyone else noticed how good Sam Windsor has gone the last couple of NRC games? Ex canberra lad who spent some time at Leinster i think. got a good write up as a 'young gun' in the comp today. Think he would be a suitable replacement for Pat McCabe? Seems to be a good utility

Has anyone heard anything about a Josh Mann Rea call up? Just seen a photo of him training with other wallabies in Perth...?

From the Australian..

The Reds hooker has been questioned all week about the curse of the gold No 2 jersey after Charles followed Stephen Moore, Tatafu Polota-Nau, Siliva Siliva and Tolo Latu to the casualty ward, but in fact he appears to have ducked the jinx which hit Heath Tessmann instead.

Tessmann, Charles’ Force understudy, checked into the Wallabies hotel on Sunday night as stand-by hooker and checked out first thing Monday morning after being diagnosed with ankle syndesmosis.
So the Brumbies’ Josh Mann-Rea now has joined the party, making him, after Hanson and fellow Red Saia Fainga'a, the ninth hooker McKenzie has called upon this season. And to think Springboks coach Heyneke Meyer is lying awake at night trying to decide whether to start Bismarck du Plessis or Adriaan Strauss — two of the world’s best hookers — on Saturday.

Crikey. It will be Harold Scoble the #2 from the U20's that will be called up next. As a Perth boy, it will save on a couple of airfares.

Wasn't Cowan floated as a possible hooker cover in the squad in the SMH or somewhere else? If we lose another hooker, we're really scraping the barrel.

Tetera Faulkner has played hooker though, and proved how adept his throwing is on the Rugby HQ segment 'Next Prop Model'.

Taf should be back soon so hopefully we won't need to use any more hookers, but just in case Andrew Ready has been going well for City.

Part of the reason Mann-Rea is there, is down to S Fainga'a's fiance about to have their child and may have to bolt.

Brumbies are going to announce a signing today. Word is it's someone who has been playing in the NRC.

I would laugh a little if it was Andrew Kellaway, mainly because of my Victorian DNA. Looks like he has been putting in some big performances and should get picked up. Just another example of how te NRC is wokring!

Not really up on what the Brumbies need in terms of positions filled - any guidance BJ?
