Wasn't Colby backup 7 last year and the GS was parachuted in?
Smith arrived before Pocock got injured. In fact, Smith's first game was the Canberra game against the Tahs where Pocock did his knee.

Colby is starting 7 this week so I don't think he's too worried
Source? Haven't seen a team announcement yet.
I'd be stoked to see McGann rotate a bit. Just 1 or 2 in the forwards and 1 or 2 in the backs.
This early in the season without injuries you usually have 20 guys fighting for starting spots anyway and fresh legs will be golden in a few weeks time.
Can't reveal my source Oz but you'll find it is spot on
"The scans were inconclusive so I have to go back and talk to the team doctor and Peter Myers, and obviously talk to the coaches about a way forwards, but at this stage I'm not really sure," Pocock told Fox Sports in Brisbane on Wednesday.
The Brumbies say they are hoping for more conclusive results by Thursday.
Still nothing conclusive on Pocock.

I wouldn't say he neglected areas of his body but I think intensive gym work during his adolescent development could be to blame here.
too much gun work at the expense of the quads? knees just couldnt hack the massive upper body development?
Am I right in thinking gym work (with machines) doesn't replicate the jarring and collision found in match situations? Certainly looks like he spends more time on bulk than anything else.
Anyway, he's injured far too much for a 25 year old for it to be an accident.
