Damn Giggdy I loved G Smith last year but I will pay good money to see him come around again.. His 7 play is just a class act..
I can understand why Bam Bam would want to go back to the sawbones who originally operated, if for nothing else he may have a warranty claim to make under the Fair Trading Act.
That being said, I'd have thought that the best folk to see about knee surgery would be those associated with AFL or Netball. Anecdotally the nature of those sports, and the way the games are played, lend themselves to issues with knees more than Heavensgame.
Pocock Gill Hopper are all fantastic players .. but I would still have a 33 year old g smith in front of them all.. Im pretty sure most others here would too .. maybe not as skilled (hoppers a machine) but its George Friggen Smith..

It must be a bit disappointing for the Brumbies squad's back up 7s that the first thing the management thinks is that you guys aren't up to to the challenge, lets see if we can get Smith back.
No wonder Colby left
Absolutely spot on fatprop. I think it is ludicrous that the idea of getting Smith back keeps getting tossed up. They've got back up backrowers who have been busting their arse at training for the last 6 months but hey, screw them, lets give George a call & see what he's up to.disgraceful
Nothing to do with it Slim. While you have the dictionary out look up the word empathy then put yourself in the shoes of those back up players.
