A "week" in a ban always corresponds to a "playing week".

A "playing week" could be any week where a club / national side that the player is involved in could play, would be my guess.

After all these November games I would surprised if he played any pre season games anyway

You guys are stacked for Outsides anyway, with Smith fitting there seamlessly and it arguably being McCabe's ideal position.

If Kuridrani takes until week 3 of the regular season to get into his mojo you guys will still be fine.

Not so sure about 12 though. Matt To'omua will revert to 10 and Christian will reportedly miss a few rounds after having further ankle surgery after the EOYT. Really don't want to see Pat McCabe playing 12 like he did under Deans. Just a recipe for another injury. Maybe Robbie Coleman or the new Saffa Cronje?

I think we'll have both Coleman and Cronje in the team, with Lealiifano and Mogg out for a few weeks at this rate. Which one goes where is up to Bernie.

Tomane, Rathbone, Speight as true wingers, McCabe and Mogg both have experience on the wing and we have played Kuridrani there in the past.

I'd actually say that McCabe will be pushing for a wing spot instead of a centre or fullback spot.

I'm sure his resignation is in no way related to his journo GF breaking the Jake White news via twitter before any Brumbies players or support staff were told.

What is it in the water in Canberra? White re-signs then quits only months later. Fagan re-signs then quits only months later.

Not what's in it, it's how bloody cold it is. Well, in general it's just bloody cold in Canberra. No good for a bald fella like me. Fagan probably wanted to work on his tan anyway and there's no chance of that in Canberra.

The Australian is focusing on the fact he's moved up to Sydney:

It is understood Fagan, who had just signed a new one-year contract with the Brumbies, has relocated to Sydney for personal reasons and is seeking a new role in rugby or even another sport.

Am I right to assume that the move had been on the cards for a while which is why he was applying for the Canterbury job?

I'm guessing there are some new opportunities that have arisen......... as long as he doesn't go to the Tahs..........
