It's not so much a Brumbies issue as a Wallabies issue, but has the IRB made a decision on Speight's eligibility for the Wallabies?

As far as I can see the IRB was debating the question early this month, but I haven't seen any outcome yet.

Tomane, Rathbone, Speight as true wingers, McCabe and Mogg both have experience on the wing and we have played Kuridrani there in the past.

I'd actually say that McCabe will be pushing for a wing spot instead of a centre or fullback spot.

is McCabe quick enough to be a winger thou... his other skills are all good... Smith could play wing to I guess... I just like to see a quick young guy coming through the mix...

Fagan resigned well, he has had challenging times, got the development proposal through... Pity White walked out obn him.... But it worked whites 2 years built a good squad and gave bernie more time to get experience as a coach.... all in all I think he did a good job, I wish him all the best...

Good young guy to pick up is Andrew Robinson from the Vikings - played for the Aus schoolboys in 2011 and 2012 as well as being in the Vikings 1sts team in the 2012 final. Really good on the wing or at fullback.

McCabe is just as quick as Rathbone, but much more defencive as a player.

How much of the Fagan departure is due to White leaving? I know he put a lot of work into getting him over here.

I think it's more to do with the fact that he's moved to Sydney and might just have some more lucrative offers open to him up there.........

When I get time I'll write up what he said at the presser but he did mention that for the last 4 years he has toyed with the idea of leaving but now that many of the things being worked on it that time are now in place he felt it was a good time to leave.

Pray do tell P.Tah. What do you know about the daughter of a Wallabies coach and Mr Fagan? Have you renewed your membership yet??

Apparently they're an item.

A good looking lady who loves rugby. I'd quit my job too.

No I haven't renewed but a did get an automated call from Nathan Grey telling me I've been thinking of renewing and now was the time to do so. I was just about to renew when I got called to a meeting. Perhaps tomorrow. I hope the streamers are ready. ;)

Maybe with the Waratahs? Heard that Cheiks and some of the Tahs management don't see eye to eye. If push came to shove, I know who I would show to the door. Probably wouldn't be too many complaints if he were to replace the current Tahs CEO.

Joe Roff the next brumby ceo? Larkham coach. Roff CEO? Player power returns to Canberra. I foresee a rocky road.

I thought Rathbone is a pretty solid defender, He put on a nice hit on Falou! Would be a hard choice between the two IMO.

Rathbone is very good on defence, he also has this knack for getting the ball forward though. If it's loose and behind their line, chances are he's chasing it.

McCabe doesn't really show that.

A glimpse at the new Classic jersey.........

Thankfully they haven't tinkered with the traditional design.........

Let us never forget:

Don't mind the new classic jersey, doesn't look bad at all. Quite like it, actually.

Especially when compared to that previous attempt; Justin Harrison is a horrible model for a poor jersey.
