This was on Moore's twitter last night (so probably after the CT wrote their story):

@GerardMiddleton not too bad mate. Scan was good no damage so hopefully it will settle down and ill be ok next Friday.

Here's hoping... I believe an announcement on the injury is due today.

I wouldn't want him playing in the next trial regardless.

Sounds like good news for Moore and Alexander. I also note that Coleman returns fit to play fullback again. Jesse Mogg and Tomane wingers... note also the starting Loosies Kimlin 6, Vaea 7 and Mowen 8. There is a lot more size in the brumbies pack for 2012…

I read elsewhere that the brumbies were going to announce their Captain tomorrow...

Fainga'a is also nursing an injury which is probably why he's not starting...

Interesting selections though... That's all I can say for now...

If the Vaea experiment comes off I''d suspect Fainga'a will play 6, Kimlin lock, and Speight on the wing in place of Mogg. I don't think McCabe at 13 is locked in either though.

Vaea at 7 - is that something about how Saffers always play their 6 and 7? I always forget what they do

You'd have to say that Michael Hooper would seriously have his nose out of joint. If White doesn't pick a genuine fetcher soon you can bet he'll be off to another province next year.

Come home son.

I wouldn't get my knickers in a knot about Vaea playing 7. That backrow trio could be tried against Big Bopper SAffer teams with a real fetcher coming on later. But that dog won't hunt if Vaea plays 7 like a cow singing Dixie; so Jake wants a look. Vaea's strength is running over folks, but there is one thing I will warrant: he'll be bloody hard to dislodge once his hands are on the pill with legs apart.

It is also, probably, a signal that Hooper and Colby F will have to get a harder edge to their game to survive under the new regime. Nothing wrong with that at all.
