Nope. Deadly serious. ;)

Unfortunately sarcasm doesnt come across well on a forum does it :(.
Im quite glad that the ABs are taking this game seriously. I hope Deans names a full strength side too.
If we can beat the ABs it will be a huge confidence boost and I would like to see the momentum created bring us an undefeated EOYT.

Ah well, all mediums have their cons I guess.

I like the idea of a stop off in Asia before the tour but we already play the ABs enough. However, as long as the test match exists it should be taken seriously.

Perhaps in the future we could stop off in Tokyo and play Japan or something, we could treat it like a midweek game in terms of players used. It wouldn't be as great for our bank balance but it would be good for the development of our game.

He was very good, but wasnt the best.
I have heard that his ITM Cup form has been pretty average. A lot of Kiwis are asking whether it was worth bringing him back.

it could be that Auckland's style of play and the Red's style of play were pretty different.

However, to me Braid has always been a terrific player but he just never steps up at crucial times in his career. These times include his previous AB caps and when he was invited back to NZ with essentially a guaranteed AB spot.

Let's hope for his sake he steps it up this tour.

Instead of Japan, it would be great if we could go through the USA and Canada on the way.

Hmm I disagree. Japanese rugby regardless it's of supporter base and player base (which aren't too bad) has a whole heap of money.

I'm not sure if the union has much actually but there is certainly a heap tossed around by the clubs. With that much money floating around if they were babied a bit they could really produce a competitive team.

Brown over Hodgson the only surprise... is he injured?

That scrums looks so much better, but the last time Alexander played Woodcock in a test, he was given a torrid time

Chisholm/Mumm would be a hard choice, both promise to offer things to a game (one a big man, the other a great running game). Neither of them really bring what they promise to the table so I'm not fussed either way.

Other then that I approve of this squad. Brown covers 3 positions quite well so I think he is the best option on the bench.

Overall I am pleased.

I feel sorry for Matt Hodgson. He has been treated like a dickhead by Robbie.

Anyway, All Blacks to win this game easily. 10 wins in a row says they will win again. 10 bad selections options in a row by Robbie suggest another loss.

Yup, Brown offers more cover than Hodgson.
Brown has a huge workrate. Its just he cant exert himself physically. Thrown in with 30 to go, he is very useful.

Hodgson is the backup 7. He palys 6 at Super level, but he is not tall enough to do it at international level.

How do we know he can't? Robbie hasn't let him show shit.
