Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

Yes. So what does that mean? I drop the dacks and touch my toes? I'm not allowed an opinion now?

My point is that in the interest of player safety, that clear out didn't even resemble dangerous. You lot are all bleating because he put his hand on top his shoulder and threw him to the ground. He didn't high shot him, he didn't neck roll him, he didn't throw him by the neck. Why you guys don't distinguish that difference is your prerogative I guess. It's also my opinion that the TMO should be able to tell the difference. The fact that Peyper literally said in his explanation "it was NEAR the neck" and "I warned you earlier" shows that the actual instance by itself needed some extra reasoning.

Oh, FFS..........

It was around the neck, and it was well past the ruck.

After receiving a warning........

It's a yellow card - get over it.

Man, you're beating a dead horse here.
He'd already warned for being a twat at the previous breakdown.
Then he:
1. Took someone out well past the ruck.
2. Threw them to the ground.
3. Let his hand rise to a seatbelt position.
You're choosing this hill to die on?

To be fair, only ones bleating are fans on the receiving end of the decision.
Rest of us are willing to accept the modern interpretation of the law and move on.

Leave the necks of players alone and move on

Well you're going to have to find a line somewhere I guess. I won't be watching if it's anything like what they coughed up for the u20's this year.

The reality is, they are and will be for the next 20 years at least the best team in rugby.

Sport is.about competition and there is none to be seen here.

League it is. At least the winner changes once in a while.

Well this has been the football less we were all fearing would happen. The Wallabies have been pressured into being behind the gain line, flat footed and playing panic footy from about the 25 minute mark onwards.

If White missed out on a plane ticket to the last world cup based on his performance at Eden Park then Genia needs to have his pulled this time. Genia has been horrible tonight.
