Haven't read all the post-match chat as I've been busy digging up my back yard so apologies if some or all of the following has already been mentioned:
Can we please just have 14. Bender & whoever's fit at 11 & 15? Dunno why but two strike wingers has never worked for us, one strike winger plus a fullback & a 14/15 has been working very nicely since ~2009. It ain't broke so don't try to fix it!
Jack Goodhue is the guy we hoped Fekitoa would be i.e. a multiple-RWC starting 13, barring injury of course. Laumape needs to work on his communication skills some more. AL-B is the new Nonu: average-to-goodish Super Rugby, axe muderer Test player.
Beaugan is a dead-set freak of nature so Richie, start working on that highlights DVD & enjoy the game time you get against the minor league teams 'cos that's your lot, my good man. Also, consider moving from the Village of the Damned to either of the sunshine capitals of NZ (Nelson & Blenheim). You know it makes sense.
Michael Hooper may be a fantastic player but he has no clue about the captaincy thing esp where refs are concerned. Demanding a YC the first time the opposition infringes inside their 22 will pretty much get you dismissed every time. You're in danger of becoming Stephen Moore v2.0 & not in a good way.
WTF was up with TGC? Several times the cameras cut to him in the box but there was nary an arm flail, no "Oh FFS" that I could discern & I'm pretty sure he'd had a shave at some point this week! I know a week in Auckland can do weird shit to people but this was Invasion of the Body Snatchers weird.
Very, very, VERY pleased to see AB go into CruSadist tractor mode, if only briefly. Hoping to see much, much more of this v Argies & Saffas next month (plus obviously Paddys & Poms in November).
