Exactly. McCaw said nothing about booing. He was talking about the home crowd putting pressure on Quade and the Wallabies.

Funny he didn't saying anything about booing but you were able to immediately relate the comment to it. The intent is pretty plain.

If the win depends on Beale making a one-on-one front on tackle of Savea to stop the winning try late in the game, then I'm backing the ABs to get the win. It is Beale's poor tackling technique as much as his character issues that grate with me (although quite possibly they are one and the same).
Low blow aside, the Wallabies win rate v NZ with Beale in the side is 33.33% (using ESPN Scrum which gives half a win for a draw). I'll challenge you to find a current Wallaby that betters that, that's played more than say 5 games versus them.

The point of this is not to portray Beale as the saviour but to throw out your earlier claim that Beale coming off the bench will have a negative 10-14 point effect.

Savea is trading on past glories already. I haven't seen a destructive run from him this year.

^^^^^^^ great try to be sure but note that as usual he's got the ball under the wrong arm: carry the ball under the left arm last week & he's at least a chance to fend Hooper with his right instead of trying to bump him off with his hip which was never gonna work with Hooper's momentum advantage.

EDIT: same with the v Reds try, ball under the wrong arm therefore cannot put a fend on & has to rely on his forward momentum to get him to the line. If he learns to carry the ball under his left arm & fend with his right he'd be even more effective than he is now.

Still a very, very good & potentially all-time-great finisher, though.

Re Savea, I read an excerpt from Corey Jane's book where he talks at length about Savea as a room mate. Apparently Savea is a grump who throws epic tantrums.

This, taken with his history of domestic violence, leads me to think he's nothing more than a flat track bully. Used to being the biggest and strongest, perhaps he's likely to crumble when faced with stern opposition.

Tl:dr: Savea throws the toys out of the pram, beats women and is therefor worth no respect.

Doesn't surprise me. He's one of those wingers who just stays out on his wing. He walks off at the end of the match looking exactly the same at the start.

Think people have run out of rugby stuff to say. Only 20 hours to go.

Perhaps a bit of truth to this.

NZ under Wayne Barnes. 4 losses from 8.
AUS " 12/13 wins from 12/13, there abouts.

SURELY, the comments from the books of a certain RM and GH are not forgotten easily. haha (nervous laugh)

That game coincides with many RWC conspiracies against the darkness, can someone write that up.
