Bledisloe #1 New Zealand vs Australia, August 7 2021

That Hooper penalty at the end of the first half, Noah kicking it from the 50m with all that wind and Hunter doing that readable cut out pass sunk us. Just astronomical momentum killers.

Another typical Wallabies performance against the ABs. But look how good we were in the last 20 minutes...if only we played that way all game. Get angry, take it personal and change the story. How many years do we want to be dominated. Get some Force players in the team. How many points did we miss on the kicks.
Weren't the force kickers from Argentina?

Academic but the ABs weren’t even back 5m that last tap penalty. This is meant to be professional sport FFS.

Mate when the crowd are booing every wallabies conversion or PG, you know you’re dealing with a real sporting nation.

Dear NZ, if you’re at a rugby match and the people near you are booing anyone but the refs, and you don’t tell them to grow up and show some humility, you’re as bad as they are.

I think that demonstrates the need for an older head in the backline. I think we need either JOC (James O'Connor) or To'omua at 12. Probably need to keep Hunter at 13, MK comes back for Petaia, I think Kellaway has well and truly earned his place. In the forwards, I think Isi comes back to 8, Wilson wasn't bad but I just think Isi offers more. How good to see four test quality props, Slips and AA good early, but then Bell and TT continued to more than match their opposition.
Banks, not sure? great moments but some shockers.
Goal kicking was a disaster, but Noah is normally good there, lets' assume that was just the outlier

Enjoyed AB's 2 girls, 1 cup 2 forward passes, 1 shephard disallowed try.
ABs’ bench are complete dogshit.

As soon as the 2 Barrett backs came on it all went to shit for NZ. JUST SAYIN'. Goddamnit just WHY when you're 33 whatever up, at 65 mins, do you sub Reece and send out Jordie TO PLAY ON THE FUCKING WING. "Let's can this freewheeling scoring stuff and go the safety option" says the genius coach.

NZ out of jail c/o Mounga's tinpot intercept.

FFS Aus would have won it if Lolesio kicked a couple of his piss easy chances.

How many points left out there? Good hustle from the Wallabies, used to blow outs, so I’ll take that instead of a wipeout.

Where’s Rodha now? 8 point margin with 5 missed kicks at the “fortress” with 100% NZ fans.

Yep, with you.

Shocker from Harry Wilson tonight. I think he'll take that personally and put in a much better effort next week.

Not shattered at that, just lost the plot for the middle 30 minutes, and that's all it took!

Hate to say it, but the goal kicking cost us. Lolo was strong otherwise.
Disagree. Strong? He may improve in time, however his playmaking is not ‘strong’... too flat and stood still when catching ball... I wouldn’t be surprised if they throw Cooper in next week. JOC (James O'Connor) is number one and still injured. We played well at the back end but need to play like this from the get go..

I had a chuckle when the mexican wave went up barely a fraction into the second half when the All Blacks were only up by eight. Not much respect for the game amongst the Eden Park crowd tonight.
