No I dont but thats pretty good coming from a supporter of the gay gordons. One game that was a grand final.
I'm not anti adelaide at all: its got some excellent restaurants and many of Sydney's best chefs come out of there.
I think unfortunately Grievous is right it is a blackhole for rugby: I would love to see rugby as the only winter sport played everywhere in Australia, hell the world, but there aren't enough quality tests to go trying to woo a city that just isn't interested in rugby. Melbourne has always been interested - christ they played it before they invented aerial ping pong - the schools play it. Its viable.

I didnt say it was a black hole, are you sober? Yeah the basic line is here, it wont grow if its not fostered, it isnt hard to understand.
Melbourne isnt a comparision which you keep using and it is played in schools in Adelaide....you really should look up some facts and stop making it up

it is a lost cause because interest in rugby in adelaide is the lowest in Australia by a massive margin and there is little potential for that to ever change compared to somewhere like perth which has a rapidly growing population filled with ex-pats. Media Coverage is generally poor or negative, general watercooler talk (of course the standard measurement of sport popularity) is non-existant, playing numbers would be on level with tasmania and were not even willing to outbid QLD and WA for the one Rugby event they did have in the sevens.

I apologise if i attributed the "Adelaide is the closest you could get to a rugby black hole" to you. I accept that you may be closer given your fruitless attempts to escape.
Played in how many schools? By how many people?
Its a small town...face the fact: rugby cant afford to play its franchise games in a small town just because a few die hards want it there. Adelaide would have to earn it somehow...no doubt you'll tell me about how they support the 7s.

The reason they lost is that QLD threw a wad of cash SA couldnt match and the IRB wanted the GC to kick of off the series so the ARU bowed. Im sure the Melb media talk about rugby at watercoolers..FFS man

Im not in Adelaide...you keep getting it wrong, I live in Sydney, where locals dont give a fuck about attending sport and the Tahs play before 13,000 people. There never used to be tests in Perth once, Im sure back then you would of said what you are saying about Adelaide now..small minds.

It's would have not would of and it's no mere pedantry because would of (a) shows you don't know what you are writing (b) is grammatically impossible
Perth had a large expat community from Seth efrika and NZ and moderately good juniors: plus they provided a jet lag buffer. Perth was a no brainer.
If Adelaide deserve or want a good test match they need to offer to underwrite the cost and foregone revenue for the ARU: that would show both capacity and interest. That will never happen.
