Looking for more submissions... we've got a few deadlocks I'd like to break.

BR - have you caught up on the rest of the games yet?

Sorry Slim, and not now likely to do that. Maybe look back to see if any of those involved were in the totw last week. If so, just rule that they haven't been dislodged by the challengers.

Alrighty, last call folks...

Looking for more submissions, or if anyone wants to adjust their halfback or inside centre picks....

One of them spelt Lonergan incorrectly so discount that and award the pick to Gordon.

Inside centre is clearly Stewart. Surely Kahui isn't even in the running as a non-eligible player?

There's actually a three way tie for halback thus far...

The eligibility aspect can get a little complicated (not so much with Kahui obviously), so I'm happy to accept any player playing in an Australian team.

Not a bad tie breaker to award it to the Australian eligible player. At least that's how I do it when I can't choose between eligible and ineligible.

I don’t pick players ineligible for the Wallabies nor those that played less than a half of rugby.

Found the 2 & 9 quality a little lacking this week.

1 James Slipper
2 Dave Porecki
3 Allan Ala'alatoa
4 Angus Blyth
5 Ryan Smith
6 Rob Valetini
7 Fraser McReight
8 Harry Wilson
9 Isaac Fines-Leleiwasa
10 James O’Connor
11 Jordan Petaia
12 Hamish Stewart
13 Izaia Perese
14 Josh Flook
15 Jock Campbell

Wing was an issue for me. Petaia was rocks and diamonds and Flook didn’t do much apart from a great try.

I originally had Ala'alatoa - but then on reflection I thought Tupou was instrumental in turning the tide of the game.
I know that stats don't tell the whole picture, but Ala'alatoa put in a huge 72 mins made 18 tackles and 4 runs. Tupou played 36 mins, made 3 tackles and 3 runs so Ala'alatoa gets my pick

I’m certainly not campaigning against the guy. I thought Ala'alatoa was great. My only point was I think you take Tupou out and I’m not convinced the Reds win that game. But I’m not going to argue Ala'alatoa is a bad/unworthy selection.
