Channeling Mr Jarse?Oz Schoolboys is only A pathway not the ONLY pathway
Many boys who were not selected will go on to wear the Green and Gold
as will some who were selected. Some will even go to league
Good luck to all of them Its their lives, their dreams and their choices
There is a discussion in the 2017 U20 thread. Probably need to start a 2018 thread.Correct me if I'm wrong but there will be no U20 State competition for 2018? If that's the case what does that mean for Australian U20 selections.

But my understanding is as per IS there will be selection camp/camps where all the state U20 squads will attend and various combinations will be trialled - I assume there will be some trial matches played at camp.

I don't know too much. I think it was Cron who coined the phrase about casting a wide net. (so as to uncover hidden talent and not just rely on traditional pathways).HB, I understood they would be casting the net a little wider than just the lads in this years state U19 squads /academies such as the Brumbies, Reds or Gen Blue etc? or have I understood incorrectly?

I am not too sure even if Cron is coaching U20 again next year.

he's not - he's at the Tahs. It. was rumoured to be Thorn but he is now at the Reds
does anyone know who brett wellington(scots) is, who made the Barbarians line up against the classic wallabies ? Did he play any form of schoolboys as I've never heard his name before. Seems like a big jump from schoolboys to this, good luck to him.
That is a huge achievement. Congrats to Tom and to his parents for keeping him focussedCongratulations to 2017 Aust Schoolboy, Tom Woodcock, who was joint dux of Knox Grammar with an ATAR of 99.9 - no mean feat with timing of the Schoolboys' campaign butting up against the HSC.
Knox had a very strong result. 19th in the State, I believe. Way in front of any other school that gets mentioned on this site.Congratulations to 2017 Aust Schoolboy, Tom Woodcock, who was joint dux of Knox Grammar with an ATAR of 99.9 - no mean feat with timing of the Schoolboys' campaign butting up against the HSC exams. Just goes to show that playing high level sport can be balanced with an academic focus. Anyone know of other strong results amongst the playing squad?

Brooklyn Hardaker could also have played at 12
12s usually need some sort of pass other than one out of the back of the hand and to run straight
