Outstanding report Newbie and an outstanding result for Fiji U/18. I wish I had gone now.

Newbie do you want to do a match report on the main game next Tuesday for a blog?

I will do the other game.

PS - or would prefer to do the Oz A v NZ match (and the Oz v NZ match on 5th Oct), since you know the Kiwi players better than anybody?
.

LG,

Last week I accepted two hearings in Newcastle fpr the Tuesday and will be rushing back down the F3 to make the second game; if I am lucky! I would hate to give you a commitment I might not be able to deliver upon. To be honest I am now kicking myself as last night's result has really given this series a twist I could never have imagined!

With respect to the Saturday I would prefer to cover the 'Aus A v Fiji' game if you are ok with this!

It was definitely Ioane who scored the other NZ try. Even the All Black website confirms it was him.

You would think the Host Union would be able to get the scorers right on their web site.

Bloody Interns. Dock their pay - oh that is right, they're not paid.

Note the size of the Fijian pack. The lad (more like man) in the middle with his head bandaged is their 'Inside Centre' - Kikau.

I learnt yesterday that the NQ Cowboys flew over to Fiji not too long ago to watch this kid play. I also know that they are not the only club 'now' interested after Friday night!

Given the lack of $$$$ in Fiji you could hardly see this lad staying in the game.

:-(

The site now has the games starting half an hour earlier. May end up being safer to get there at 9 in the morning with the papers, a good book or so, a couple of sandwiches and a thermos of coffee and wait and see rather than gambling on the accuracy of the website.

Certainty and predictability!

Good to see the 'HALLMARKS' of the ARU filtering down to the schools level!

So you all dont get a rude shock when you arrive at the game - 'Elfster' and 'HJ' will be the ones each wrapped in a tartan blanket with numerous pidgeons roosting on them! Please don't mistake them for vagrants!! Lol
