wow its really sad.

Do you think if the time effort & money is invested back into this we get these comps back up again?

I don't know why they dont create a comp with the public schools and small private schools up the northern beaches.
I don't think so as most men have left teaching in the last 15 years. If it could be done it would take a lot of work by NSW rugby, and private industry with rugby connections, although a few of these I have met have been burnt by club and NSW by amateurism and lack of interest. A lot of goodwill has been lost. If you want to know a bit more PM me.

NSW cancelled his contract. You may remember around this time the media had made a big issue about broken necks and mothers and female teachers lost interest in rugby. The schools that played rugby normally had a male teacher who was interested and as they left so did the rugby.

Again, dem womens...

There's a concerning trend developing here.

Last time you spruiked this I literally pulled out the stats which shows this not to be the case:

The demographic has only experienced a ~12% swing since the 80s. Irrespective of every other way to poke holes in that notion, it's unlikely it's made a difference.

There is a comp on the Northern Beaches - don't know what its like these days but its called the Peninsula Cup. St Paul, Mater Maria, St Lukes, Oxford Falls etc. ( I think).

Yeah i've heard of it. Tried to look it up online but cant find much info on it recently.

NSWRugby need to be promoting and supporting it with resources.

Even small highlights packages online will increase exposure making more kids wants to play the game and it will help remove the elite private school stigma around the game.
