lol. horan saying cheika will be unhappy with that first 20 minutes, cheers for the insight. cheikas going to blow a fufu valve if this shit play continues

He needs to have a look at his selections. He also needs to do something urgently about our defense. Oh, and also our attack. Kicking is bloody pathetic, too.

Popgun Foley. Pathetic.

Scotland gave us plenty of chances at the end there, but we let ourselves down with poor handling, poor passing, and lack of support...........

And I don't think I need to mention our kicking, but Scotland were nearly as wasteful towards the end............

Arnold and Cooper good off the bench...........

A couple of good tries from Folau..........

Hooper best on ground.........

Congrats Scots, well deserved.

Well done Scotland. We made too many mistakes, but Scotland pressured all game. They looked fitter and more composed. Lindhout and handling errors killed us.

Well deserved win built on absolutely courageous defence.

Scots' rate of improvement over last 2 years in playing, player development and coaching > Australia's over the same period.

And what's the population difference between the 2 nations, 18m or so?

Some players were well and truly shown up today. Nabuli did nothing and probably should have been YCed early in the game. Genia had a shocker - too many mistakes and poor work putting supports under immense pressure. DHP disappointing - have the Wallabies even been briefed on the new touch rules? Hanigan works all day long but has no impact, Should have been subbed instead of Higgers. TPN and Moore are both very poor.

Only players worth their spots on today's efforts are Foley, Folau, Hooper, Coleman and Kuridrani. Need some changes for next week - especially in the game plan. If that's how Cheika wanted them to play against the Scots, then he should be on very, very thin ice.

If I was a betting man, and I am, Scotland with a 14.5 points start look pretty good.

The last five tests between the two sides have been decided by less than a converted try.

I think Australia will win but I'll be very surprised if there's a double digit margin.
Never in doubt!
Hope you had a little bit @ 5.75 as well :)

Well done Scotland.

I'm scrambling for excuses but have nothing!

Dumb play nothing else to say. I'm going to look at the positive from this and think the only good from this is the fact that a win would be an opportunity to paint a rosier picture than the game is actually in.

If Cheika's instructions were "Hey fellas kick the fucking ball away in the stupidest fashion possible - Sanchez, Dayne: I'm talking to you!" then he should be fired.

Whether that is in any way plausible I'm yet to see.

Further, if the instructions were "Pass the ball over the sideline whenever someone is unmarked beside you" I think we need to pack rugby up and head home.

Aus just shit there. How many chances do they want win to the game? Just fuck up after fuck up after fuck up. Scots with ONE good move in the game. Try. The canny c**ts take the right option every time. Still, Aus with way too much firepower to lose to that lot. That Scots team was paint-by-numbers rugby. A very limited palatte with no creative flourish.

Wayne Barnes has become a very sharp ref. I no longer want him dead. In fact, I hope he has a long, long life. Because, of course, once he finally does die, he will still be going HEADFIRST STRAIGHT TO HELL WHERE HE WILL BURN FOR ALL ETERNITY. AND PERHAPS EVEN BEYOND.

Hmm a few subjective decision, but at the end of the day, the Wallabies failed to capitalise on the Scots mistakes and penalties
Spot on. We left at least 9 points in penalties on the field in the first half alone. But I guess thats Cheika ball, his KPI must be tries scored per game not wins as I can only assume that ignoring penalty shots was the team strategy leading into the game. Perhaps some of the more traditional aspects of test rugby like putting points on the board and building pressure need to be respected more, along with realising that the game is 80 mins long in which you need to keep plying consistent pressure as opposed to 5 minute bursts.

So we can't even beat an understrength Scotland team. What happened to Aus rugby?

I really don't think the Scot's showed much at all, I disagree and think they were pretty much the same Scotland we all expect to play, competitive without being anything special. (although maybe now can hold it for 80mins)

Handling errors, No Support, Poor kicking game, wtf is up with our breakdown work? George Smith consulting didn't do much good :(

But how bloody good is it to see Folau flying high and some Cooper magic coming off!

My halves would be Gordon and Lucas.
My first five would be QC (Quade Cooper) and Foley
My second five would be Hodge and Foley
