About the reffing.. A lot of them are having trouble with the basics.. Both Contemponi and Fardy both blatantly played the ball on the ground right in front of Owen.

Maybe refs are so drilled about the focus areas like feeding straight that they forget the basics that make up the fabric of the game.

Owen actually said with one that he was on his feet, then slipped, but he let him keep going despite the fact he was flat on the ground. Funny!

It must be easy to play against the wallabies at the moment. If after a couple of phases it doesn't look like you will score a try, just knock the ball on and get a penalty off the wallabies pathetic scrum.
