True, but he's the type of player that Cheika likes. Expect a Pocock, Hooper & McMahon backrow when the prodigal son returns, or at the very least McMahon coming off the bench as a utility backrower.

Maybe we could petition the IRB to bring in size restrictions for backrowers at an international level rather than just in juniors.
That way we wouldn't get smashed in contact and in the line outs.

Cyclo, surely it's nothing that a simple "operation" wont fix?!

Q: How many urologists does it take to change a lightbulb
A: Two - one to identify the problem. The other to write dark ? why. Consult medics.

Cyclo will understand....

Glad that this avatar issue is systemic. I thought my phone had gone into perpetual load mode and green and gold was chewing up my data and pouring money into Telstra's coffers.

Michael, Cyclo, TOCC, Braveheart, dru, Warpath, Gaffachino, Fatprop, Brumby Runner, Inside Shoulder, Brian WestlakeSlim 293, Tragic, Derpus, KOB1987 and yours truly all have avatars intact (or at least visible to me)

Strangely enough I can’t see my own avatar on Safari, but can on Firefox.

I can see your avatar BR, but not Gagger, Dismal and formerflanker (on this page) and some others on other threads.

All others seem ok.

The mysteries of the internet - and I'm certainly the wrong demographic to have the faintest idea about why and/or how to fix it.

I'm using Chrome - this may be an inadvertant masterstroke my part, or it might have nothing to do with it.

Apparently not. I'm also using Chrome and have quite a few issues.

I don't understand. I work really well in the dark! ;)

Tragic, I know it's tragic but can you please explain?

Its complicated BR.
There's a lot of friendly banter between medical and surgical specialists.
Physicians joke surgeons have a "when in doubt cut it out" mentality and don't maintain a lot of their medical knowledge outside their area of expertise
Surgeons joke that physicians order a bunch of esoteric tests make obscure diagnoses but don't actually do much.
As a sweeping generalisation Surgeons ("the do-ers") operate and if that's not the solution they often get a physician ("the thinkers") to sort the problem out.
So it was an esoteric reference to the fact that if cyclo couldn't fix the problem with an operation involving tackle he'd more than likely ask someone else to sort it out.
Didn't expect anybody to think twice except maybe cyclo.

I only think once. Being a surgeon, it's all I need! ;)

I hate to give you the bad mail but this will be McMahons last test for the foreseeable future. If he can be persuaded to return in 2019 then he will make an excellent back row bench option. Lets not forget that the reason McMahon is leaving is because he was not made a reasonable offer by the ARU, presumably under instruction from the current coach.
