That sounds like the kind of thing an accountant would come up withDid the Reds charge them extra by saying you're actually getting some promotion as our front of jersey sponsor... you just need to stand on your head.

Surely get Arnold and let Thrush go back into retirementSurely Eddie would be all over this. "mate just choose your club"
Maybe the Rebels cut one of there late call up locks to replace Philp or to the Force as cover for Rodda
Ah shitRory would prefer not to play any rugby this year in the World Cup and just stay in Japan earning his bucks. Has turned down offers from Aus Super Rugby teams.
So that’s one less contender for lock for the Wallabies.

I mean tbf it’s not like he’s doing anything other than sticking to his contract which already prioritised $ over national selection as most overseas players doAgree. What an attitude
The report I read was just for the remainder of the season. Don't know how that will pan outDoes he actually have a contract? Has his club been rolled up or just not competing this season?

Has a contract - if he leaves to play for an australian team, he tears that contract up. at 4.5mil over 3 years, yeh not going to happen.Does he actually have a contract? Has his club been rolled up or just not competing this season?
He can come back at 34 to play for the mighty Tahs in 2025Has a contract - if he leaves to play for an australian team, he tears that contract up. at 4.5mil over 3 years, yeh not going to happen.
I think he prefers to guarantee the $$$ from his last big contract, I can understand the logicRory would prefer not to play any rugby this year in the World Cup and just stay in Japan earning his bucks. Has turned down offers from Aus Super Rugby teams.

Surely he’d still be paid regardless? He’s a professional athletes being paid to play? If the contracting organisation doesn’t provide the opportunity to play, then surely a case could be made that they fulfill the contract and let him play elsewhere. Just like a contracted super rugby player playing in the ITM Cup or whatever it’s called now.
