I was about to say it's a bit early giving out MoM with 8 mins to go.

Fairly standard. Makes sure the MOTM sponsor gets their moment in the sun.

You guys could seriously use him. I'll be disappointed as a Glasgow fan if he "comes home", but he'd be a massive weapon on that right wing.

Also, Samson Lee, great scrummager, good around the ground. Just stop complaining to the ref. You look like a baby throwing a tantrum.

Taqele received a YC against Leinster (?) in a similar circumstance to his brain-fart for the Tahs.

If anyone wants a watch, here's the highlights:

Here's the full game:

Full game is worth watching IMO, but immensely frustrating for the first 50 odd minutes.

Glasgow could've added another 20-30 to their score if they could get passes to stick early on.

And Cooper Vuna, an inconsistent winger in Australia now getting fawned over in Euro Rugby podcasts and looking like a starlet of the Premiership.. Who could've guessed?

Biggest issue for mine is Hoggy. He's been run into the ground. It's nobodies fault, but with Seymour and Maitland not being fit before the World Cup itself, he had to start every game in the world cup.

While for Glasgow, the other 3 fullback options, Bryce, Murchie and Hunter all got injured during the World Cup period. No opportunity to fix himself up mentally or physically.

Bringing the thread back to what it's supposed to be. In Stade Francais 17-50 thrashing of Treviso, Jayden Hayward started at 10 for the Italian side, while Paul Alo-Emile, Hugh Pyle, and Will Genia all started for the Parisians.

John Ulugia started for Clermont in their 31-14 loss to the Exeter Chiefs. In the Munster-Leicester game, Telusa Veainu started at Fullback for the Tigers and Mark Chisholm came off the bench, as the Irish side went down 19-31 at Thomond.

EDIT: Oh, and Kepu started for UBB in their 19-16 loss the the 'spreys at Liberty

In "La depeche" today, Castres and UBB are interested by Luke Jones.

I remember him like a very good player very close to play again with wallabies. I'm wrong ? Too much competiton for him for a come back under green and gold jersey?

I hope they aren't that interested, I'd like see him stick around at the Rebels for a few more years. Spots are tight for Lock in the Wallabies, so he might be unlucky. His workfare also opens him up to play 6, but again hard to get a spot there. Personally I'd like to see him play at 8 for the Rebels, it might open a new door for him.

What _may_ keep him in Australia is the impending arrival of his first child (well his wife is doing the hard work, but you know what I mean). One might stay to maintain a solid base for the newborn, one also might go to earn the good euro so the child is set up for a good life. Could go either way. Luke doesn't strike me as the type focused on coin, more so representative honours.

There is also a bit of talk in the Rebels thread as the new Captain. That may sway him to stay.

Luke and his wife have a house in Melbourne, her parents are here (Bill Campbell and wife) and by all accounts he really likes living here. But, he also has family in France, his wife's sister and his brother-in-law (Mark Chisholm) live and work in the south of France, so there is some incentive for him to go. i think despite his great work effort and skill set, he is long way down the wallaby second row pecking order at the moment.

I know Chisholm has business interest in the South of France, but he's playing in Munster ATM, has his family not moved?

If he was just chasing money he'd have gone France, or Bath, or Sarries. A battler suggests he's serious about wearing white. Obviously the Not-Nots and the Falcons are in and around the relegation battle too, but there's still a reasonable risk of relegation there. Worcester gets him a starters spot.
