Are they serious with ANZ? It's bad enough for an England or Northern Hemisphere game, yet alone an Islander game.

i would have thought a game like this would have been a good opportunity to utilise Skilled Stadium on the Gold Coast

Parramatta Stadium would have been better as mentioned, and better than the SFS because there are a lot of Islanders living out west.

They must have got a peppercorn rent deal from the ANZ Stadium guys.

Actually I thought that there were no test matches next year for Oz apart from 3N and the RWC, but come to think of it we played Wales (twice) and Fiji in 2007; so I don't know what gave me that idea.

Problem with North Sydney is it holds three men and a dog. The SFS or Parramatta would be good, or even Concord FFS.

probably thought that because its only 1 week after the Super Rugby Grand Final, Robbie will have to give the Reds players a rest..

NSW players should be fresh though

Yeah, it's unfair to expect a team as unfit as the Reds to back up. I mean, sure, they'll get to watch the finals, but that isn't enough time.

Tah's players will be fine, they'll take real momentum out of the final.

If Samoa have their best side together (mostly made of players playing 7s or in NZ) then they will be pretty good.

Some of the sides they put out in the Spring Tour this year were extremely impressive on paper but never quite performed, perhaps they will next year.

The ARU needs to maximimise revenues from the few internationals that we will host next year. There are no in-bound tours from any of the Northern Hemisphere teams. Therefore it would be totally ridiculous to stage a match like this at Ballymore, or Concord (Concord?) or Parramatta Stadium.

Presuming that the right financial incentives are available, ANZ is probably the best bet. If Sydney fans want to see the national team next year, they will turn out in droves, especially on a Sunday afternoon.
