"draw and pass", or "offloading" doesn't matter, SBW is carving them up on offence.

Can't see Nonu getting a start soon. SBW needs all the Test exposure he can get to be ready for RWC 2011.

Watch it again, Smith was everywhere and is the guy who makes the back line work well because of his "simple things, done well" approach to the game. He does a lot of tackling and covering, and a lot of support play that people often miss. I prefer DC/Nonu/Smith or DC/SBW/Smith to any other combo. Never under rate players that have rugby brains like Smith.

Usually, when referring to 'offloading' (esp in SBW's case) you're talking about committing one or more player to the tackle and getting the pass away in the contact.

'Draw and pass' commits defenders to the man with the ball but often one gets the pass away before the contact. Usually you're only drawing one man to put your outside man away.

SBW challenges defenders more than your average 12 or 13 and the 2nd man often gambles that he can stop the off load if if he comes in to help out. Attracting the 2nd guy and proving him wrong in his opinion that he can stop an off load are the great strengths of SBW.

Forget the ITM Cup, a lower level of rugby, you could see the ability in his 2nd season at Toulon. One always thought the SBW naysayers were wrong though one couldn't prove it until we saw him for the All Blacks.

Another impressive thing against Scotland was when he didn't pass the ball when it wasn't a percentage play but went to ground. This was the big improvement from his first season in France.

No mate, he's a league convert who turned down lots of cash to come back and try and be in the AB's for the RWC. He signed on for the Cants and the Saders. Go onto You tube and type his name in, he's lekker.

It's a tradition dating back to the very early amateur era so that a travelling team wouldn't have to carry two sets of jerseys.
