Did you understand what Shiggins was saying? Writing is a form of communication and communication is about the ability to transfer ideas, thoughts and expressions to another person. If you understood what Shiggins was trying to say, does it really matter if he used the wrong 'their/there'? Especially in this forum?

If you were listening to him saying the words instead of reading it, do you wonder which 'there' he's thought of in his mind?

Surely the quality of the expression is found in the content and the validity of the what's being expressed, not in how it's spelt.
